@mikita-gancharou I need to add more instructions to the description. Grab the frogs by their tongues and drag them to the frog pit you start in.
My fun in this game came from teasing the frogs—dashing past them without getting eaten, lol appreciate if you can review back!
This was very simple but quite fun. Dragging frogs around was more fun than it should be and for some reason the "Buzz buzz" of the fly really got me good. Great job!
i liked the frogs, could not figure out how to drag them back ,, but was a good entry and hope you can get instructions on how to play , i figured out the wasd but nothing else i tried allot of buttons but i assume none were right .. still good art and ty
Reverse trapping frogs is so interesting!
Simple game but captured the theme well! Maybe if the game was to be expanded on you could add a score so you know if you are doing well!
This is beautiful.
The game of draging frogs is great fun!
fun game hahahha. pretty innovative mechanic with the tongue grabbing. buzz buzz :)
Obsessed with the audio! The animations are slick as well. Didn't understand the mechanics that well beyond just moving around
Mechanics make sense and I can definitely see the vision. A little more animation and audio polish I think would add a lot, but solid game loop completed for the jam. Always appreciate people putting in some voice acting or voice foley sfx in their entries.
**BUZZ BUZZ**
The FPS tanks a few seconds after start when running the game on my dusty old potato. :potato: :desktop:
It could probably be optimized a bit by disabling some of the frog movements/collisions/rendering when they're not visible and/or near the player, or perhaps by some other performance-tweaks. But probably wouldn't make much of a difference for anyone with a decently modern machine.
Watching the grass-background jankily scrolling with dropped frame-rate is quite migraine-inducing. I managed drag two frogs into my pit before giving in. :frog: :frog:
**BUZZ BUZZ**
The audio, art and general aesthetic of this game were great and really funny. I think the game needs a little bit more feedback when you actually collect a frog. Further, I think it would be funny to be able to make the frogs shoot out there tongues.
The sound was really funny and the graphics :D More instructions would have been nice.
I didn't know frog-collecting was a thing but I'm glad to know that now
I really liked the recorded sound effects, but feel like you were missing something more ~~riveting~~ ribetting. Fun little entry. I do feel bad for these frog's tongues (or are these super powered frogs with the whole separate parts of the tongue?).
My only real complaint is that an arrow back tot he frog nest would have been nice (didn't go north immediately so I assumed it was more centerish and got lost looking for it the first time.
I think more variety in the gameplay would make this more interesting. It was very easy to collect the frogs.
