Nice concept! Good luck ^_^

Nice unique approach, concept wise. Quite difficult especially with my mouse sense I guess. So maybe some possibility to adjust it ingame would be nice. Still overall very good job.

Interesting gameplay, a bit hard to play but liked the idea and vibes!

It's interesting for the thing you're collecting to also be the thing that damages you. That said, game got a lot easier when I realized you could move. Very simple, but made for a satisfying little chunk! I think some simple things like movement inertia, targets of escalating value, and alternative enemies (it's essentially a physics game; maybe they lob glowing blobs at you that you have to bounce into a receiver) could do a lot to enhance the gameplay. Good job!

Reminiscent of WitchDelivr. Standing in one spot on the right kind of breaks the game but in a fun way. Good job given the indisposition.

A cool concept, deserve further developing, I quickly found a safe spot allowing to do kinda infinite points

I liked the idea, and the art was cute. It was a bit hard to see the UI because hitting ESC didn't work for me for more than a split second (I think it was counting 1 press as 2 presses). I also wasn't sure why there was hearts for health but also a number next to it. I liked directing the beams around, that was fun. I wish they lasted a bit longer, because by the time I lined them up it felt like they disappeared soon after.

@nomelu Thanks for the report on the ESC key! Uh, in that case this is probably a bug that exists in every single game we've ever made with the full screen button and hopefully never again for any future jam game!

I didn't know cats where capable of photosynthesis! :cat2: :sunny:

First I was anxious that they'd die from the lasers :eye: :scream_cat: Including the cats on the rooftops was a nice little addition besides the solar panels. Maybe there could be plants as well? :seedling:

I like the reflection-mechanic.

Took some time to wrap my head around a good strategy, but then I realized it's beneficial to wait for many of the eye-creepers to line up and keep your position, steadily retreat a bit and shield yourself.

I liked what you were going for here and you could certainly head to many different directions with the mechanic.

Keep on jamming!

Very unique idea. It was fun trying to focus the lasers from 2 or 3 eyeballs. I liked the simple, relaxing music and sound effects as well. I think a simple parallax effect on the background when you move around and more emergent gameplay (power ups, different tools/weapons, different types of enemies, etc) would really help flesh out the game.

Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)

I love how unique the mechanics are! Being able to heat up the cats is so inspired. I guess it's a bit easy, but it's fun!

Ah, we meet again, the makers of =< 1001 Nights and Witch Contractor. Yes this is quite a unique game and was a pleasure to give it a spin. Though lack of time put in was evident in some details, the accuracy of code did not suffer, everything gameplay related works just fine. I was annoyed that esc for fullscreen didn't really work, well it would work for a split second just to taunt my eyes with visual glory that could have been. And you never really explained what the other thing is that I switch to with Q/E, though with trial and error I figured out it is some sort of eye spanking paddle.

Btw don't play this piece of crap I have in my LD profile as my LD58 game, a more appropriate entry is this other thing I made postmortemly https://krafter.itch.io/the-goblins-bag

Loved the eyes sprites! Good Job!
