How colorful this is... And I love how the blocks fall – dynamic and beautiful? Like gravel/sand in Minecraft))) Great job! Good luck!

very cute artstyle, love the mixture between 2d and 3d
love those colors
super cute! very hard (imo lol) but i loved the colors and how firing at the enemies would push you the opposite direction!
Wow, incredible! Very fun and very polished. Incredibly addictive game. The music/sound design when you're falling is incredible. Color story goes hard!
The blend between 2d and 3d here is awesome and the polish on particles and lights are really really cool
Loved this one! Had so much fun trying to propel my way out of the hole using the bomb jump (which I think is a bit broken). Really liked the visuals, the effects and sounds. Some small bugs aside (like bomb jumping before pressing space and winning with negative depth), great game!
absolutely fantastic. HOLD. SPACE. TO. DIVE.
This was wonderfully done! I like the risk/reward factor of how deep you choose to dive. The falling blocks are also a nice touch to add some extra challenge. However, while the upgrades after successful rounds are nice, the gameplay does get a bit stale after a while. Perhaps a post-jam version of this game could add more mechanics the deeper down you dive.
The aesthetics on display in this game, by the way, are fantastic. I particularly like the parallax background as you dive.
Really cool! Love the graphics and the sound effects are great as well, the art/sound really stands out!
The concept is simple, but the way you execute it makes it so good
I really love how much control is given to the player to set their own difficulty, in a sense, by letting them choose what depth to start at - it's an interesting balance between risk and reward. I was not able to get the hat, but. One day I will.
The game is cool, I liked the shades of the game, interesting mechanics, well done
Very fun arcade game. The bomb jump is a bit hard to control, and part of me thinks this kind of movement would be better suited for more open levels, and another part wishes my explosions were more.. explosive. But it's a blast (hehe) nonetheless, satisfying and addictive in the positive sense.
I can't believe you got Gravel from Minecraft to cameo in your game!
srsly though sick game. Only thing is the jumping upgrades make it harder to rocket jump (I'm assuming because you spend less time in the window for it).
Love the artistic choices! It forever reminds me to acturally read the text before playing—went too deep!
This is the best game I played here definitely. Just solid on all fronts. Negatives: I didn't realize you need to hold Space for so long, it was super confusing. I just pressed it and the level was just stupid. I press space to skip menu and animation is playing and I press space and it skips the next menu by accident and it is infuriating. The biggest drawback for me is that blocks are way too small for this horizontal acceleration. Standing on one or two blocks is incredibly hard and finicky. And it is very important to progress..
Great job all around! I love when games can be familiar but still make me think in new ways of how to progress. Would be nice if the game onboarded with a tutorial a bit, but I figured it out with some time. Love the risk vs reward aspect. One of the best games I've played this jam!
Congrats!
Amazing graphics, vibes, and overall ambience--I love how all of the visual and audible art come together. The gameplay controls felt really responsive. It's a little silly, but I struggled in the beginning because I didn't understand how the "hold space" mechanic worked, and just kept tapping it... 🙈 One aspect of the gameplay that frustrated me slightly: I really wished _more_ of the blocks were affected by gravity, since I felt like I'd quickly get stuck with no way out except death-by-floating-skull.
Incredible game and gameplay! I kept going down and ended up REALLY far from the top, then I understood that maybe I should've just gone a little bit down for my first time HAAHAHAH
I love the visuals, the feeling of the gun and the way you can destroy everything, it's a cool experience and there's a good feeling of movement and explosions. The only downside for me was that the monsters could spawn under you and kill you without you being able to see them at all, and this led to a lot of confusion, but overall it was super fun to play !
