Pretty neat Motherload-esque gameplay! Needing to click on things to mine/grab was my only gripe (as opposed to auto-pickup with a key or somethin). Great job!

started so relaxed and chill then had no choice but to get locked tf in. ORDERS ON THE WAY AT ANY COST BOSS
love the hand draw scenario
I liked how quick the jet pack moved, it was kind of hard to control, but that made it fun. I wish there was a way to check the order without being by the airship, and more upgrades to yourself would be cool; like a bigger fuel tank or bigger bag. Overall, this is a good start towards a bigger idea! The deeper cave music was a jam!
The hand-drawn art style is super charming - it gave the game a fun and quirky personality. One thing that tripped me up a bit was figuring out what each tile was made of - it wasn’t always clear what I was digging through or collecting. Also, it would’ve been really handy to check my backpack inventory without having to run all the way back to the shop. But overall, this was a fun little mining adventure. Great job!
quite a nice game. Of the improvements, I would like to correct the interface for selling or delivering an order - the distance between elements automatically increases when the number of items decreases, this is not very convenient unless you use Left Mouse Button to scroll
Great entry!
Couldn't mine, maybe I got it wrong, but I clicked on the block and just before it looked like it broke it just didn't.
@jamesgames1000 sorry to hear that your having issues - was this one of the dirt blocks under the stores - they might show cracks if you try to mine them but will no break - otherwise might be a stone block every block should break within 2-3 secs of holding though only if you mine one at a time
I did also run into an issue of a stone not breaking, but it was only two the rest broke fine. I really liked the game, I'd like to see some more added to the goals mechanic. I understand there's the timer to continue playing but it seems very high as well as there's no sense of reward for it.
@aaronjnc interesting yea never got in the system to keep track multiple of blocks mine progress so you can end up restarting a blocks timer forever if not careful and feel stuck while the Sprite looks like it should be broken - Scope creep hit hard - wanted to get more in like upgrades, quest or even building - thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed
@thomas-higgins For some reason I thought you had to click not hold which now that I say it holding makes more sense, so its just that I thought I couldn't break it. Ok but now that I've actually played the game I give feedback. So the game is fun but can I suggest adding upgrades and maybe a more clear description on how to play the game. Other than that It's a great game keep up the good work :)
@jamesgames1000 Haha thought that may of been it. Yea a design hole that we never got around to fixing - wanted to get in a how to guide / tutorial and had plans for upgrades, quests and polish and a lot more but scope creep got the best of us haha - thank you for the replay and feedback
Loved the concept, cool art and nice music! As a playtester did not understand at first that you can hold the mouse instead of just clicking and for a long time did not understand why I can not break the stones to the end, also was not clear at first what texture what resource, lacked an icon in the order of what to mine. Also did not immediately realize that you need to click on the dropped resources and did not understand why there is nothing in the backpack - it would be nice to have an auto-collection of dropped resources. Overall cool!
I took a long time to understand that I needed to hold the mouse button to mine and buy more gas, but it made a lot more sense when I came here and saw the comments about holding it. The main problem I had was that the character is so slippery that you end up spending more fuel than desired to get to the shop/order delivery. Other than that, this is a really cool game and idea and I had fun playing it! GO JETPACK DWARVES!
I was really confused on why weren't my blocks breaking, so I came here and saw on the comments that you needed to hold the mouse button to mine and buy gas. I had some troubles with how slippery the controls are, so you end up consuming more gas than intended to. This is still a great idea and fun game, congrats! Go go jetpack dwarves!
The hand-drawn art is such a charming touch! It really gives the game a fun and quirky feel. The mining concept is solid, but I did have some trouble figuring out what each tile was made of — it wasn’t always clear what I was digging through or collecting.
Also, it would be super handy to be able to check the inventory from anywhere instead of running back to the shop every time. The shop interface could also use a little tweak — maybe something to make the item layout more consistent when the number of items changes.
But overall, this was a fun little mining adventure! Looking forward to seeing how it evolves.
@oduvan I think the key feedback I have so far is a solid need for feedback to players - a short tutorial or how to guide, even a settings page with some keybinds - you can actually check inventory at any time by pressing I, but multiple people have requested that so clearly not very clear other option is I should make the backpack clickable to see Inventory seems simple in hindsight haha - thank you so much
At first I didn't realize there was a jetpack in the game and just spent 5 minutes drilling down :) Then I completed a couple of orders, it was fun to take off very quickly on a jetpack, nice funny drawing. Good job!
After reading some of the comments, I'd suggest updating the game page to include more of the controls, because I didn't even know I could view my inventory without being at the shop.
I liked the jetpack speed, although sometimes it seemed like it was almost too fast. Still a lot of fun.
I wish you could maybe hover over the items you mined to see what they were before picking them up since you had limited inventory space, but otherwise it was still a pretty fun little game! Good job!
I wish I could see what ore I've picked up so I don't have to go back n forth to shop to see what I have. But other than that, it's nice mining game.
love the style of the game
Very pleasant game with a great design. I think the jetpack sensitivity is too much but I had fun though !
When you start digging and then stop, the resource gets buggy and doesn't break anymore.
And so a nice game about the dwarf miner!
I reached level 7 and then got tired. Maybe it's not worth doing a lot of levels for Jam? Or add variety to them like new tools?
There is still a GREAT lack of the status needed to collect ores! Yes, I'm casual!Снимок экрана 2025-04-25 190646.png
