I never want to kick a kitty. I tried to throw them as gently as possible. Just the name was kind of a turn off for me because I love animals, made me want to kick the client and destroy his stuff.
A funny concept and great 2D artwork. Ran into a bug where I froze after jumping on the trampoline.
Fun game! I think it wasn't always clear how things were supposed to be interacted with, or if there was like an optimal way to shoot for points, or what counted towards the actual score, but still a lot of fun a very nice humor! I'd love to see this game upgraded post-jam into something with more interactions!
Fun game and great artwork! I see a few bugs when playing the game but with that aside the idea is very cohesive! Really loved the animation and I think interactivity could be an issue within the game.
Interesting concept with great artwork and humor! Some interactions were a bit unclear, but overall it was fun to play.
@ejmejm We weren't able to fix that bug in time before the game jam ended so that's why the unstuck button was there. Simple temporary fix we had
What a fun premise. I liked the moment of realization the characters had in the end. Beautiful work on those character portraits too. Really enjoyed those.
The art in the game is sadly a lot less pretty than those portraits, mostly due to some less than ideal colour choices. The cats are cute but I wish they were more alive. It felt a little like I'm just throwing cat statues.
While I like what the game is going for, I think that in the end, all those little assets you're adding over time don't seem to amount to much because they basically didn't really do anything discernable and it felt like the game is just repeating the exact same non-challenge over and over until the story ran out of new text boxes.
I wish that I could have actually used the leafblower to blow cats over the fence or something. Or that I'd have to actually catch cats that are running around and trying to avoid being caught.
I liked the music. It was nice :)
help I am stuck between two worlds and I don't know who's right
This felt a little unfinished at times, but I enjoyed playing it.
I agree with some other people that it wasn't always clear how/if you could use some of the objects in any way (like the leafblower and the drone).
I did feel like this was a much greater mix of 2d and 3d art visuals than you see for a lot of jam games. I'm not any good at art so I don't really know how hard this is, but it seems very impressive to me how good grabbing the cats felt - it doesn't feel like you're just clicking the mouse and the sprite is changing while the 3d object disappears, it feels like you are actually grabbing the cat and now it's in your hand.
Pretty fun game and I alway love the 2d characters in a 3d world. Though I did think increasing the number of cats felt more tedious than fun.
Never imagined myself doing dropkicks with cats, lmao. The humor in this game is on point, good job!
