I liked growing the eyes! How creative!
Fun idea! Building these "frankensteined" stuffed animals could be really rewarding. I had a lot of trouble knowing where the hit boxes were for the containers and placing objects in them. It might bw nice to have a visual feedback for hover state to help out with usability there. Great work!
Really fun concept! I loved creating those quirky plushes. A bit tricky with the hitboxes, but once I got the hang of it, it was super rewarding. Gj, looking forward to the post-jam version!
The concept is good, but I have issues to put the head into the mixers, and didn't succeed to continue :/
I really liked your art here, thick line art is hard to get right. Music was also great. Gameplay wise, took me a minute but was fun when I got the hang of it. Could have been easier to get into the flow of building bears by reducing the ingredients required per bear.
很有意思的游戏,在花盆里种眼睛非常有创意This game is incredibly interesting, and the idea of planting eyes in flowerpots within it is extremely creative.
Thank you for your great submission!
It’s hard to believe you managed to create this in just 3 days! I really like the "build-a-bear" concept—it’s super creative.
I’d love to see more feedback when completing or missing a task—maybe a points system or something similar?
The sound effects are also really well done!
I like how strange this game is, with unusual crafting stations and music. I wish there was some feedback on the result of the mixing and of course I would love to see the finished plush toy...
Still, great job! Good luck to your team in your future projects!
Really funny game, love it! I'm not sure how I was supposed to handle the first screen, as the customers always requested colored balls that I was to able to pick. Also, I think there needs to be a way to clear the mixers, otherwise is very easy to get screwed; also I would love to have some feedback where I deliver a correct or an incorrect order, maybe some sort of score. All this being said, I really had fun playing it and that's what matters. Well done!
Absolutely wonderful game! Easily one of my favorite jam entries I've played thus far, this is the exact sort of mood I like in games so I was a huge fan of this one. The music for each room of the process is nice, the mechanics are well made, overall this is just a solid entry with no major flaws. If you took this further and displayed the dreadybears as they were made I think this would be a stellar game!
Game name ends with .swf, so I already knew I'd love this game before clicking. Audio and overall style are incredible. The individual screens are all great.
In the "head dispenser" screen it wasn't clear that you move the mixers... i'd default them to not being directly under the dispensers so players knew they could be moved. Or maybe make the knob on the head machine change the head type and a button to dispense so you didn't have to keep checking the contents of the mixer.
It says you have to drag your completed mixer to the order - but it seemed like you could drag a mixer to the order any-ol'-time... not sure it it's not completed or I got it wrong (I'd prefer it just auto-completed) but I really really wanted to see A PICTURE OF THE DANG BEAR I JUST CREATED! Maybe I didn't make it far enough to see them: it took me a few restarts to get to day 2... maybe at the end of week there's a Goth Bin Teddy Bear Picnic.
Anyhoo... how did I end up spending so long playing this demented game? Great work, super original and weird and great, one of my favorite entries this LD.
Nice and fun concept!
Coo!
After a short time figuring out what the hell I'm supposed to do, it was very clear, because the visuals/UI helped. The orders/missions on the right corner told you everything comprehensible.
What I missed is a score for completing the tasks or getting a penalty when I mix the wrong stuff together. Now you can just put something together and give it to the "customer".
The art and overall mood was very weird, but I guess you wanted to accomplish that. :D The style was definitively seen everywhere, not only in the visuals, but also in the music. The different "body part games" were different enough and I had fun putting stuff together. Well done in just two days! :)
Fun idea, great music and a bit confussing gameplay. Overall an interesting little jam game.
I enjoy these types of game with an unusual feel to them. Growing the eyes, plucking patters from trees and the fur/stuffing seeming slightly off (to me at least) gave it just the right feel. The artwork helped add to this feel.
I did have difficulty with the head selection, I just could not figure out how to get them to fall into the mixers I wanted them to. Not sure if it was me or hit boxes being off.
Overall a fun make-the-order style game (not sure what the correct genre name is).
