Super cool! I like the feeling of being chased by the swarm, and seeing them pass through the beams of light where you just were moments before. Integrating the combat as a platforming mechanic is fun. I thought the music was great but didn't quite fit the creepy vibe of the visuals for the first couple of levels, though the upbeat feeling makes more sense once you start fighting back.

I did get confused at the sword level and thought I had to backtrack and fight the enemies to progress, but I figured it out eventually.

Thanks for sharing <3

Loved it honestly. I reckon maybe simplifying some of the levels so I cant accidentally go on a mission somewhere nowhere near the exit, but something about timing my slash as the spiders went into the darkness and then cleaving through the bastards was very fun. you could even maybe do another level where you have to chain it midair.

Wow, this is a game with a really eery atmosphere with these graphics and the lighting style. I think it was a good challenge, even a quite tough one. That any bug the sword slice missed could kill you made this pretty difficult. The level with the many upward jumps took me quite a lot of attempts. Hats off to this cool entry but also damn this was too hard :joy:

Awesome entry! Really happy to have played it, consistent and intriguing artstyle, and the perfect difficulty in my opinion - in particular one level was challenging. Great work =)

I found it too punitive and couldn't pass through a level.

YET, it's the best game and the most polished game on all aspects I've played so far. Congratulations, the graphics are stunning, and you nailed the feedbacks. The feeling of the slash is so great. The atmosphere is awesome with good SFX and a nice music. The fake god rays are beautiful and useful at the same time. The concept itself is not revolutionnary, yet it's well executed. I only wish, as I said above, that the game could be slightly less punitive, like being able to take one hit before dying. That would be enough. Other than that, the controller is smooth and the animations too. Honestly this is a really great work. Congratulations to the team ;)

Overall game feel is really good, reminded me of katana zero but with horde mechanics. Level structure had me a bit confused at times, but it was the same for my game, hard to do it all with a few people. Great work!

One of my favorite jam games I've ever played, seriously. This is something really special. My full recorded playthrough is here with more thoughts :) https://youtu.be/j1qaTZjbxmw

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2274205446?t=00h23m17s)

Once I got the hang of the slicing controls, it was really satisfying to slice through all of the spidies!

Now just put a secret at the top of the cliff at the end screen. :smirk:

Very cool platformer, I like the mood. You should continue to develop it after the jam.

I saw your game on the stream of that annoying kid who kept yelling.

I thought it was really interesting. It was really pretty, with a really atmospheric soundtrack and a really cool ambiance with that darkness and just a few lights here and there.

Honestly speaking, I didn't like the sword mechanic. I thought you could use it at any time and I realized that you couldn't. There has to be an enemy for the dash to happen. This can create a softlock at some point in the game where there are no more enemies.

Does the "You Win" screen end or are the spiders infinite? I killed a bunch and nothing happened.

Congratulations for the game.

Great animations and good level design! I really liked the clean movement and replayability of the games. Hope this game gets pushed and made into something real!

One of my fav entries so far. Really interesting mechanic with attack/grappling as a way of moving. The atmosphere is really well done as well. If I had to nitpick, having a way of reliable restart the current panel would be nice, pressing esc would sometimes take me 1 panel earlier and it felt pretty bad if it took me some tries to get through it. In any case, really nice job!

Really interesting game! First of all, the mood is really cool, those spiders in the dark lights are creepy. The music tracks are really amazing and really adds to it. Art style is really good and goes well with the game, as individual art assets looks fine but not great on their own, but together it looks great. Gameplay wise, it's really packed with ideas! I love the switch in gameplay when you find the sword, you feel powerful. It's overall pretty hard (which I like), but also a bit frustrating (which I don't like too much but it might be intended? If not, less content but more polish would be good). Great game, congrats!

Loved playing your game on stream! It was sometimes hard slice-leaping with the sword, but I managed to reach the end :)

Well done!
