very cool! i imagine it could use a little bit of balancing because it didn't take long for me to realize that if i just keep spamming "boar" they slowly flood the area and the vehicles cant get through. but really interesting concept nonetheless!
The game works, perhaps it would be nice to add more enemies to make it more interesting to play for a longer time. The wolves didn't seem fast enough. Overall, I liked it, good luck!
Solid entry! As Cshep99 already mentioned, it feels a bit to much like spamming and not conscious summoning. But I liked that you implemented 3 different animals with different mechanics
Nice game, great job! I liked how dramatic everything was, with the music and the machines falling over.
Later I just spammed boars all the time, perhaps it would be cool to force the player to strategize more! I was also very happy there was a winning screen and the game didn't just go on indefinitely. Overall, great entry.

cool idea. It just seems like a bit of balancing would go a long way. for example: the easy to hit big trucks give a lot of points while the small hard to hit ones give little points. I see how that would make sense thematically but not really in gameplay.
I would have loved to see some countering being necessary where you have to hit certain vehicles with certain animals or something like that.
Nice idea, could see this going somewhere with more time :smile: 5000 points was maybe a bit much as a goal for the jam :sweat_smile:
I ended up saving the forest by just mashing the boars haha, it was awesome to see my boar army take on the machines. Also it was creative to have the forest being cut down be your health bar. Great submission!

On a serious note, the controls wasn't very comfortable, but other then that – great gameplay, awesome graphics, really fun. Great entry, good job!
Hard! Would love to see a postjam balance update or perhaps a tutorial or introduction level to ease in the strategy needed to play it well.

Managed to beat the game on my first try by spamming boars, not sure if I just managed to cheese the mechanics or not, but a cool little game nonetheless!
I’ve never watched the show, but as an ecologist who spent years studying the impacts of global environmental change on biodiversity, I can say that the game is extremely satisfying and cathartic. Visual style is nice and the music fits the mood. Excellent job!

Well that's certainly innovative, but I feel utterly heartbroken for the critters that had to meet their untimely death because of me T_T
