I think it's a bit complicated but a very cool concept!

There's a lot going on at once and you're kinda thrown right in. With more visual clarity I think it would be easier to understand the process. Had to game over once pretty quickly before I really knew what to do but after that the game concept played out well.

I like the concept and the flavor, but the game gives you next to no time to read up on all the demons, wizards, and dungeons, and it was really difficult to decipher what made a particular kind of demon more or less appropriate for a certain task. I would've loved to just have some breathing room to read all that sweet flavor text!

I love Demon Delivery Center's concept, where it's a sort of occult service job of taking in requests and frantically working out who needs what summon, but I wish there was just a tinge more nuance to it all. I wanna read about the cool demons and wizards! Otherwise, there's a real sense of atmosphere here, with the sound design and the really good character art.

Nice entry!

I loved all the wizard and demon illustrations, and the lore in the locations and descriptions. As others have said, the timing is super tight to be able to complete the tasks when I want to read all the descriptions! It might be nice if the first 2-3 jobs were untimed, and only after that you started having to do the tasks on a timer once you learned about more of the game.

I really appreciate that key parts of descriptions were highlighted for easy skimming. While I like the spooky font you chose, it was a bit difficult to read (and read fast) in the large bodies of text.

Music fit the vibe very well and I liked the demonic sounds when you start up the game!

Here's a doodle of one of the characters in your game:

Good luck during the rest of play and rate!

Hey There, I think the concept is really interesting and the Argentine jokes are hilarious.

Maybe the only thing I'd point out is the fact that the time keeps going as you try to read as fast as you can.

besides that I believe it is a great game for the jam. Well Done!

I think it would be awesome to have location descriptions appear upon hovering over the red letter text of the request. That could help give clues to what is needed. I enjoyed the music and sound as it added to the atmosphere.

Nice idea and the demon illustrations were great, though I found the timer made it impossible to play. I ended up restarting many times just to read all the books. There is a lot of good stuff in there that you would never have time to read under the constraints.

verbante 2024-04-28 11:23

Font is very hard to read :/ (so much so I couldn't play)

blaise-ebuth 2024-04-28 14:00

The graphics and musics are cool, the lore interesting, and the concept really outstanding!

But, as others said over, the amount of text + the font + the really short time to respond to a request make it almost unplayable as it is... :worried:

The only way would be to spend a certain amount of games only reading the different books and try to memorize all the information before starting to really play...

A good way to fix that would be to give a lot of time per request at the begining (or even no time at all) then to gradualy increase it. :nerd:

Nice job anyway. Looking up for a more balanced version.
