I feel like its a little rough around the edges, but I love the main concept. I enjoyed searching for the best monster combinations. Also, I don't really get the instruments, maybe add a little check or graphics so that the players can know when it's active. But nonetheless, good entry!

Loved the voice of the customers, really funny and fit the mood perfectly.

A nice little game with pretty graphics, though the gameplay mechanics are somewhat simple.

namnam 2024-04-16 14:51

Concept is nice, but we have not enough information to make good choice and it take too long to experiment

capreola 2024-04-16 14:52

I quite enjoyed it! The graphics is very pleasant and the concept is fun. I liked the puzzle aspect of the game, though I think it can be more polished. Some hints are not very clear, and I'm not sure why some of my monsters failed the task.

Interesting concept! Loved how the music reacts to the selection of the instruments. The gibberish was funny too. Apparently, I'm pretty bad at this game because I kept getting it wrong lol. Is there a maximum amount of stuff that can be thrown into the pot? Also, I wasn't sure how discovery works - If I understand correctly, you discover properties only when you create the correct creature...

Hey there, it's quite a craft! Nice texts and humor around and I do like how ridiculous looks all the creatures in the result. I additionally like the way it sounds and animated - it really touches my heart. The only part missing is some feedback in score / money / whatever and some progress in amount of ingredients available etc, but I guess that was something cut due to time constraints

Nice one, guys!

Very cool game. There some small things which would do it even better, like more items and different image for monster(but I know it's hard to make it that customazible so nvm). But anyway I spent in the game relatively lot time so it's very cool. (tho I couldn't complete it ;( ) Ah, yeah, and sounds is really funny.

Idea is nice. Some sort of summoner's shop is a nice thing to manage. Researching of ingredient properties is a nice mechanic too. Art is cute and funny but my favorite is the way the speak! It's almost like swearing sometimes but not really :D

Poor summoned creatures

We had a similar concept at the idea stage. interesting and cute implementation. Thank you

Well done. Loved the visuals. They seemd very polished. Overall the attribute matching and trying to break it for the lump one was fun, too. Having the attribute descriptions for each ingredient was a plus, too.

Had a lot of fun with this one -- the game felt smooth and responsive, and there was a mystery to what I was doing at first that I was interested in understanding. I love that the dialogue forced me to use my brain a bit and really think about what I was doing -- after a few failed attempts I really started to get the hang of it.

The art is fabulous, the game seems really nicely designed and coded, and holy moly the sound design is stellar. I love the pitch-shifted vocals speaking in what sounds similar to Simlish but more slurry and strange, fitting the mood nicely. The ambience of the cauldron bubbling, the anticipation buildup of cooking, so good. It kind of reminds me of Breath of the Wild's cooking experience honestly. the way the music changes when you choose a mood / nightime or daytime is an excellent touch. All of this makes my brain very happy and really has a huge impact on my experience playing the game, its excellent audio feedback that keeps me engaged and builds anticipation.

I will say I wasn't _too_ clear on how to proceed after making the rahmen, but I did manage to get through a few rounds using my intuition, and figured I should match the number of ingredients that I used to make the first creature. I also found that the book didn't reveal more to me other than the Rahmen and the Blog -- maybe I missed something?

great work y'all!

The voice was funny! I liked the concept and it fits very well with the theme At first I didn't know what was clickable or not, maybe a small hovering effect could be nice Overall great and fun game, it was cool to see the monster I created as a result!:)

This looks amazing and felt very polished. I like the dialogue and the mood. As with a lot of people in the chat, I struggled a little with the recipes. I feel like the rule of thumb is that it is safer to make your games easier than harder for these jams. Nice job!

salanyel 2024-04-19 01:13

The art is pretty good, the mumbling voices pretty fun. Mixing and discovering the monster you will summon makes it very fun to me. I like to try to create some monstruosities!

talif-moor 2024-04-19 19:16

It was a clever little time, I had a little trouble at first as I expected every needed monster to have a special formula like the one in the book, but once I worried less about "finding the right combination" it was a good time! I think I'd like it more if there was more "busywork" in between tasks, like learning more uses for the ingredients beyond experimenting with them during summoning. Still, I had a good time with it!

norah 2024-04-21 13:37

Your game is very pleasant to play, it's very polished ! I like the fact that we’re making discoveries about their use for each ingredient while experimenting. Congrats
