Very nice game, I enjoyed playing it. Ended up soft locking myself a few times because I didn't understand the importance of checking what resources you need to unlock the next sector lol. I'm a sucker for crafting games though, so I liked min-maxing for an ideal run
Not very intuitive, but fairly complete.

Quite good, i got softlock once though
I love the vibe the game gives off, as said above, you can get softlocked quite easily and at some point I just did not know how to get further. I think your survival system is great for something done in a jam though ! Good Job !
This is an ambitious project, there are a lot of content. There are also placement problem, when building object than overlap another easily if the character have not move far of the first. The use of the theme is interesting, costing ressource to expand the limits.
Very fun but it kept auto eating the food i had whenever i would harvest something which ended in me not having enough food to win. Other the that it was very good
@ciber-turtle auto-eating the food? We have never encountered such a bug. Could you explain it in more detail or show us a video clip of it?

I tried it 3 times and I am not always sure why I got stuck ^^ I auto eat food and had not enough, I got blessed and decended into heaven and at one point the game just put me back to the main menue for no obvious reason. But I liked the game in general. Its like a puzzle game and reminded me of oldschool rpgs like Tibia or something :)
@bloham Can you explain the "auto eat food" thingy in more detail or show me a video of it? I don't remember such a feature or a bug like that. Also, you didn't got blessed, you died of hunger there.
Chill game, loved it

Pretty large game for a jam! Very impressive. I did struggle to realise I needed to press 'space' at the invisible walls to use my items to unlock it, but after that everything made sense.
I also was at the crafting table and then crafted a furnace and they went on top of each other as I thought I had to be at the table to 'use it'. Good game!
@acarc Thank you for the feedback. Seems like I need to update the description of the game, so less people will be confused.
I really like the game! I some observations about its design though, I feel the hunger system is too punishing, which makes a game a time race, it doesn't let the player think because everything have to me time-optimized, and it absolutely needs a pause button (considering the hunger increases over time). Also, where I get the gold the first time I used it to upgrade the pickaxe and I soft locked because the next area needed gold, I advice not letting this kind of softlocking in survival games. But overall its system is pretty solid, I hope you keep developing it

@brogolem35 sorry I meant OVER eat. I just eat all my food at once and had not enough to forage more :) Like when you have 8 Apples and eat them all at once you just get 100% energy and I guess you have to eat just 3 :)
loved the story, music and the gameplay. Just a one nitpick, sometimes we can't chop the trees. you have to be at a certain distance to do it. Is that a bug or by a design? other than that loved it.
@smiley405 I am glad that you liked the game. I am not sure about the certain distance thing, never occurred to us before, but we know that the detection is a little janky. The reason is that we used raycasting instead of shapecasting for the detection, because it seems that the shapecasting in Godot is currently either bugged or it doesn't work the way we thought it would.
Softlocked because I ate all my bread, not realizing I'd need it to unlock a new area. Pretty ambitious game with lots of systems. The directional walking was solid! Game was well built, you could turn this into a bigger project if you wanted!
