Uhhh... wha-?
The ambiance/mood is great, almost _haunting_ and matches the aesthetic perfectly.
Thanks for trying the game out, glad you liked it
This epic adventure of getting absolutely hammered moved me to tears, especially the twist at the end. Jokes aside, the game has a great atmosphere thanks to the music and I had to laugh out loud a few times :) I was looking forward to the pub tho.
@supersayafynn Thanks for the feedback
Not really sure what I just played. But I really liked the simple blocky style that somehow made for an eerie atmosphere that kept me moving forward to see most of the town.
The music was also great! Good effort
This was the most art-house experience on this game jam. I liked it! I completed it to the end. Jokes aside, it was indeed an interesting choice of style and dialogue.
@bredera Thanks for trying it out, glad you liked the music.
@alexascher I'll take art-house any day. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice music, fits the mood. Seems like you have the start of something nice here.
Atmospheric especially with the music, but really needs to be able to skip through the dialogue
I'm not exactly sure what happened here, but it didn't run on my gaming computer. Super blocky and the dialogs were really really long.
@larsdu Yeah ran out of time to implement that. Thanks for the feedback.
@jason-shapiro That is weird. Maybe try a different browser, I know Unity sometimes causes problems with Firefox. My PC is ancient and it runs fine, but I haven't tested it on any other hardware.
I fell for the trap and got stuck the first time! I made it to the end the second time. Really like the vibe of the game. Diagonal input made me move faster!
it's a neat town. good work
Strange game, but I liked it
At the beginning I didn't understand anything, but then I still didn't understand anything.
I actually really enjoyed this game a lot, I'm a sucker for weird games, and this definitely is one of those. Tuesday and the protagonist's dialogue felt well suited for the environment and the city was really well done! I loved the vibe, the music, greybox city, and haphazard sprites all felt really cohesive together in a way that I didn't expect! Great work!
Loved that sort of paper-bag art style for the environment and with the music it made for the perfect atmosphere. I really wish there was more to do in the game because you made a world that I'd like to spend more time in, but of course time was limited. The dialogue suited the world well, I only would have liked to have been able to skip through it faster. Also why is it only possible for pink to pick up the money? Does blue have some bad debts?
@shaner421 Thanks, usually weird games made for jams just get a Huh? What? and that's it. I'm glad you liked it.
@gossian Well you see pink is the butler, blue is a bit above all that, picking up change off the street. By the way blue's name is Monday, that's like a joke I guess. Anyway I think I'll expand the game, definitely add a button to skip dialogues.
