Looked like a very cute game, love the idea of it, but after doing the tutorial i think it bugs for me (Both Linux and Windows), as i can't find any flowers even after looking for more then 5 minutes. Flying around is quite satisfying though, I wish you the best of luck!
Nice Worldgeneration, sadly it is quite empty, the concept that was introduced in the turtorial sounds super ineteresting, but when actually playing i could only find one single flower, so i couldn't really experience tha full concept. Also the Beemodels are very cute.

Hey ! I was so hyped, interesting gameplay, cool and relaxing music fiting quite well with the theme, found my first flower, upgraded my flight speed and then... no more flowers ? Is that me or the world seems empty ? Do I need to fly really far away ? I wanted my hive to grow !!!
Lovely music and atmosphere. I enjoyed flying around as the bee but wasn't sure where to go after I found my first flower, which did not seem to give me any pollen. It did show up in my card with a picture though. I found the tooltip hard to read, I think choose clarity over aesthetics for that one.

Hello guys, thanks for your feedbacks, they are really appreciated ! I'm still at work currently but I tried to add my version of the build which seems to have more flowers. We had some last minutes bugs while finishing the game. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi! I downloaded the new version, the world is now beautifully generated and there are more flowers, but the worker bees are not showing up to catch the pollen after I set them up at the hive! I'm bookmarking your game and will check it again later before I rate just in case you're able to fix it and upload a new version.
Btw, I really like the procedural generation, a few graphical glitches aside. The forest is beautiful. Nice tutorial as well.
Also, nice seeing another bee game around!

Cute game, but like previously mentioned there are some glitches to iron out, though the graphical style works really well and fits the whole atmosphere a lot. The start is a bit confusing, but after that part it's nice, good work!

Hello again ! I did some bugfix and the game should (in theory) work properly now thanks for your patience ! @conradoclark, I don't know if you still want to play the game but I ping you just in case, sorry for the inconvenience

A bee contender!
Good job to make a voxel world game in a jam :o
~~But sadly, I just downloaded the now-with-less-bug zip, and the world is empty except for one flower. Not at all like the screenshot. And it seems I can't upgrade the number of my worker bees.~~ Nevermind, I was stuck in the tutorial. I didn't understant I needed to press Enter once again.
The game was short, and the carrying capacity doesn't seem to matter.
I like the fact that you only discover the flowers, and the harvesting is automatic. Very pleasant :)
A nice chill experience and a unique take on the whole theme. I liked your work! Well done!
Really cool take on jam's theme and really ambitious scope. I love the vibe and gameplay loop. It feels really good to fly around and explore. Procedural generation of levels has its downsides (handcrafted ones could grab players attention for longer) but for a jam game it is really aspiring.
Unfortunately the game has its cons, I think that controls, hitboxes, camerawork and optimalisation could use a lot of more work for the game to be truly enjoyable.
But overall the game looks good and it is really impressive given the time constraints.
This is a nice little entry. A bit empty, but hey, its a game jam with limited time. Colorful and nice athmosphere :) Keep it up

Great game. The atmosphere is really great and the controls satisfying. I really enjoyed wandering around your world. Congratulations for this game, keep it up ^^
This game is really quite nice. I loved how it looked, and the progression mechanics were a bit refreshing. I think it was a great decision to use ambient music for this type of game. The movement was also one of the things I enjoyed. The graphics are great, once again, I really like how the game looks. Although it's a bit plain, the open spaces made it easier to spot flowers. Maybe you could add more stuff later, like those bushes and other small features. Although, it did lag a bit on my pc, so graphics settings would be appreciated.
Although I did enjoy flying around as a bee for the most part, there are points to improve upon in the movement, though. As I upgraded the player speed, it became harder and harder to navigate precisely. I don't think you meant for this to happen, so I suggest that you could either add mouse controls, or add a keybind (something like the shift key) to allow for more precise turning.
The camera started glitching out when I tried doing stuff like barrel rolls. It seems to glitch out when you look either too far up or too far down. I feel like this could be a fairly big hit if you developed upon it further, I'd love to see more upgrades. Take the following with a grain of salt, but maybe a dash for the player, or some beehive upgrades? Maybe you could have multiple beehives! Some kind of clearly visible upgrades every now and then?
I hope you enjoyed the game jam, and keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot for your feedback @icerider007. We’ll be taking that into account for our future projects ^^ Unfortunately we were aware of most of those things but the time constraint was what held us back. Good luck on your game-dev journey!
Its really cute, but I can't find any flower, the areas are empty. I'm happy to try the game again. :) Screenshot 2023-05-05 165509.png
that was so serene, I felt calm and one with the bees. All there was is flower, and that was all there needed to be. Felt kind of meditative
This is a very pleasant and atmospheric game. I played for about 30 minutes and just relaxed.

The pixelated modeling is very cute, and this bee doesn't have a stinger, so I really wish I could pet it uwu! Great game.
@kyyrozu Of course, yeah. You made an amazing game, especially considering the time you had to make it. If you told me this took a week, I would've believed you.

Hi @stephanschue, yeah it's kinda our fault, we didn't make it clear that you had to press enter once more to exit the tutorial and play the real game, sorry for the inconvenience

Very nice game! It was fun to play! One of the highlights of this Ludum Dare! The animation of the queen's wings was slightly annoying, realistic but too fast.
What technologies did you use?

@mpk90 We used Unity for the game and MagicaVoxel to make the assets. As for the audio, I don't remember what @kyyrozu used but it was involving a piano from time to time.
Had a nice chill time with this. I loved the world and the atmosphere - like the others, I'm curious as to how you managed the world generation aspect. The flickering (presumably from overlapping geometry) was a little distracting but completely manageable. Unfortunately it seems the bees suddenly stopped spawning and collecting pollen at some point. I had 4/5 flowers discovered and a full foraging list, but no pollen got collected so I had to quit out. But no matter, I got to experience the core of the game and really enjoyed it. :)
Other minor bugs (hehe): the camera goes crazy when pointing the bee upwards 90°, and the Maximum Bees upgrade button does nothing in the tutorial section.
Every aspect of this game is innovative and fun. And you've managed to combine all my favorite things into one game: gathering resources, directing minions, relaxed game play, base building, soothing ambient music ... all rolled into a flying simulation. This is the perfect game for me.
I find it very satisfying just watching the workers fly around gathering pollen. I could just fly around the forest for hours.
If you decide to develop this game further (and you absolutely should!), here are a couple ideas I thought about while playing the game.
- Imagine discovering a large field of flowers that, once discovered, would keep the workers busy for a long time while I go exploring more.
- I'd like my movement to come to a stop while the hive menu is visible. It would be nice to be able to toggle "hive mode" on and off instead of having to hold the spacebar while I interact with the menu.
- The camera gimbaling is a bit frustrating, but it can be easily avoided. However, I still get stuck every once in a while. It mostly happens when I'm too close to the ground. Maybe limiting the vertical movement to some number of units above the terrain would do the trick.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to see more games from you in future jams!
