Great work! I love the packaging process. But I'm not sure whether stability affects delivering process, or only the package count act as hp. Those two minigames seems a little unrelated to me.

Its a fun concept but I cant get passed level 2 as the logs don't seem to have enough space to land between them
@yizao The first game is supposed to be a way for you to get as much "health" as possible for the later stage. The stability is just a gauge that tells you how good you're doing you stacking. (You get penalties for of center and not center on previous package).
@bayousoftware You can often jump over more than one log at a time. But yea, sometimes the only way to succeed is to stack enough packages to survive.

I loved Oxylunky so much, I had to come see if you entered LD53! This game was a great take on the infinite runner genre. AND the stacking part at the beginning, classic arcade fun.
The music was pleasant but not distracting. The jumping was forgiving, given the size of the scooter.
All in all, great entry!
@matt-green Oh, I'm so sorry! And this warms my heart. Oxylunky was done with tools I knew and wanted to try push in some different directions. This time, I jumped into C and SDL without having finished a single project in C before, so this game is quite underwhelming in comparison. Thanks for your kind words though... next time will be more interesting I hope :D
nice balance between stability and delivery, that is fun also! I think it is a hard game, jumping every 0.5 seconds or less. Maybe the learning curve should be smoother but that's jst my point of view. Good job on the graphics, and on all.
Absolutely loved this, the feeling of the scooter going super fast while you're just barely hanging on and the package placing becoming almost a rhythm game as you try to match the center worked together incredibly well. The highest score I got was 5700, at that point it was like the sixth or seventh traveling, I had become speed (and the logs too numerous).

My strat was too always jump just in front of a log since you have a good chance to also make it over more than just log in the later levels, that got me pretty far. Art looks amazing too. Like mentioned above already, gameplay felt incredibly satisfying, the oomph of the jumps and the packing especially. The music is an absolute banger too, great work on that! All around awesome entry, great job!
You missed an opportunity calling this Death Scootin, it felt like I was playing a cartoon. Some animation of the packages falling in the stacking scene would be great. Had fun with this.
It's a fun game! Very hectic and fast, making me feel like I'm in control but at the same time not at all. Very difficult the harder you go. Good job!

cool idea. especially those packages and stability.. really fun game.. keyboard space smasher.. art and music really fitting
What an addicting game! The design of this game is deceptively deep, what first seemed like two simplish minigames interleaved bring variety and your success on the first game directly affecting the difficulty of the second part is genius! It gives you a chance of redeem a failure by trying extra hard in the delivery part (assuming you don't get screwed over by bad RNG, but that's a part of the game, should have packed better :D).
Only thing I was missing was a zoom out animation from the pile of boxes to the delivery but that's an unnecessary minor addition. I had a ton of fun with this even though I was pretty bad, here's my best score:

Nice entry !! The game is fun to play, i think the difficulty could increase more slowly. Great work for the music, it fit perfectly the game.
