Quite a fun game, the controls are a little hard to get used to, and the bullet reload time is extremely long, which is kind of annoying if I am being chased by a bunch of zombies and suddenly a zombie appears in front of me (because it takes two bullets to kill a zombie, I usually end up shooting once and then running into them), but overall I liked it.
Think you forgot to make the repo public? Anyway, interesting little game! I also had some trouble with the controls.
The game is very fun! The graphics could've possibly been a bit better, but they were all in all good. I also found the extremely long reload time quite annoying.
@kylethecoder Thanks for the heads up! I just made it public now.
I like the idea and structure of this, being focused on delivery at day and zombie survival at night. But the zombies just pose no threat at all. I was able to just camp out at the pizza place and shoot all of them before they could get to me.
Fun little game, nice work! Would be interested to see where this might go with a bit more time.
Some feedback: - Game doesn't seem to load on the Ludum Dare page. - Easy to get stuck between houses. - Could use some more sound effects! - Nice details with the upgrade system! - Would be nice to have a day / night progress indicator. - Things could maybe be scaled up a bit, it's really hard to tell at a glance what direction the vehicle is facing. - Would be nice if ammo was automatically re-filled for when the next night cycle starts. - Seemed to have some trouble shooting zombies at times, like the bullets weren't colliding when they're off screen? Not sure. - Zombies are generally just annoying and not really challenging.

Idea is cool and it really feels like a retro game. Some feedback: I found it confusing to use the pizza arrow, and I usually stay around the pizza place to refill my ammo instead of running from the zombies hahaha. Maybe they could attack the city instead of you, so you would have to go around to fight them. Had some fun!

Fun little game! I liked the way you could take shortcuts by going off-road (although I guess it's not _that_ realistic,). If there's one thing I'd add, it'd be a few more enemy types for variety.

I never played an Atari 2600 game. Now I feel like I have! I really like the political commentary that when city needs more roads, they just destroy all the buildings. At least I had a bug where the road upgrade made all the houses disappear. Didn't really affect the gameplay though. Games with upgrades are always so addicting. Good stuff!
The inverse movement controls are quite confusing to me, and at first it was difficult to figure out what to do, but the core gameplay is not bad once understood. The night provides a nice constrast to the delivery job, but I found the optimal play is to hug the pizza place to not run out of ammo. To fix this, you could: - increase ammo count - add ammo pickups around the map and remove ammo refills at pizza place (refills here were a little confusing) - make zombies faster - allow night deliveries (to continue earning money and reward good players)
I finished the game, I reallly liked how the pizza arrow disappeared when you were close to your destination, that is a small touch but I feel like it makes the player feel like the game isn't handing their hand. I agree with alot of the other comments, I got stuck easily to objects and would've liked more music/sound. I would also like to have a timer or count to tell when the day/night is going to end.
Driving controls a bit unintuitive, but otherwise a fun little game. Good work.

Nice game! Few points of feedback:
- since zombies got slowdown from grass, it makes the game a bit too easy and also best defending position is next to the pizzeria, so player is not encourage to leave this area at night at all, especially since getting more ammo is also on pizzeria, maybe random houses should be a refill for ammo and changing after each use? maybe houses to which player delivered the pizza?
- buying more roads do not help, since it also makes zombies "faster" (less obstacles for them to get slowdown), also buying it makes houses to disappear (I guess that is a bug).
- I think not dividing game into delivery and shooting portion, but combining both might be better.
Anyway, it was fun to play! I really like that there is a shop with upgrades. Good job!
