Nice character designs and easy gameplay :)
Easy gameplay, but good for a model to build a better game, for me I'd like to have some custom design for these heroes that I've enlished.
First thing I do in every Unity game is change the font. I am very over the default Unity font.
The characters look great, and the idea is solid. I purposefully got the king assassinated to see what would happen when I enlisted the wrong person. Turns out it is pretty extreme. I like it.
I really enjoyed. Congratulations :)
Cool idea, and great work on the character designs and animation! I like the concept of harvesting the best mages/fighters/bards/etc from your kingdom to protect you on your journey. I'd love to see more features added to this so it's more challenging to weed out assassins, and maybe you only have room for ten characters in your party so you need to carefully decide between who you've already selected and who else is waiting in the queue. It would also be really fun to have the rules change slightly based on the king's mood and current party, so maybe you'd need to reference the requirements every few turns and keep memorizing new details about it. Great work on getting this game finished!
Nice concept of a Papers Please in a medieval setting. I think it can become a really nice game!
It's an interesting idea, I also liked the character design, good job.
It's like a Middle Earth Paper's Please! A simple concept, easy to learn, and didn't have any bugs. However; it is lacking in the fun department as the only real challenge is remembering 3 rules. But you completed it in a weekend! Good job.
Sadly my browser dose not support webgl bu tin my game i did a slimier thing. You were harvesting information!
@icalm - does it not support WebGL at all? That's interesting! I've tested the game on Mobile (Chrome), and Desktop Browser (Chrome), but haven't done much testing beyond that. Sorry to hear you couldn't try it out. Appreciate you trying to give it a go :)
It's a great idea. Harvesting talents, as opposed to general crop harvesting, is a good idea, even if the game method is somewhat simple.
I like your art style but the character is a litte confusing and influenced my judgement.
It's an old computer. But this other computer should!
Cool idea! Clean interface and relaxing gameplay. I could easily see this being expanded on. Great submission.<3
A bit basic but understandable and it sounds like you're already aware. A pity there wasn't more time! :)
I love papers please so this is an absolute win
Nice, short game. I see the inspiration from Papers, Please. I don't really understand the relation to the theme, but that's fine. I'd love to see more development and maybe multiple levels as well. Nice work!
The graphics gave me some nostalgia as it reminded me of an old browser game I played when I was young, called "Adventure Quest". It is tough with the limited time, but I respect that you did not give up and actually submitted something, which in my book is a huge win. If you choose to make a post jam version, feel free to @me. Would be fun to see what you had in mind
PS. Some of those bards looked like they lied on their resumé, haha.
Indeed a almost-finished state of a game, as you said in your description. It lacks some more diverse choice making by the player to pull it over the line, but not that far from it! I like the feel of the graphics. Nice start!
The the interpretation of the theme is a bit of a stretch isn't bad at all! I am always happy to see a game that differs from the others  Simple but nice game! One thing that would make it a bit more interesting would be to build more complex rulesets like [older that 27 AND (EITHER mage OR NOT from trenton (not both)] but of course the time is super tigh, so be proud of what you were able to archive!
One thing you could keep in mind for next time: Make the contrast ratio between text and background maybe a bit higher. The white text on this #d4b19b background was still ok, but I felt the contrast was a bit low.
