Funny title but I can't figure out what to do in the game, the buttons make sounds but don't do anything discernible and I don't know what the requests are asking me to do.

I like the concept of the game and some of the art but sorry I was just too confused as to what to do
There is quite a learning curve, and I am not sure I have completely got the idea of the game. In the end I was just randomly spamming buttons and the strategy worked for a while but I ran out of money eventually. UwU
I don't think I get it..
I can't get the game too. I guess the game does need an actual tutorial or at least you can mention it in the game description.
I like the visuals, and audio, and the concept is pretty unique, but the gameplay is quite confusing, it's really difficult to figure out what to do and why to do. Otherwise, the game looks nice, so good job, guys!
To the people comming here after us, this is what we have found out:
You can select a land and then buy it, a green arrow appears, showing this land is now yours. Then while this is selected, some of the incomming requests on the right will be green. You can click those requests and a building appears. You only get money from selling buildings so you will run out of space soon.
If you re-buy the house you can get the people out and destroy it. The two buttons on the left get the people out of the house. The two buttons on the right destroy it. Top is cheap but slow, bottom is more expansive but faster.
I guess you have to do this quite fast, so you can handle incomming requests.
Knowing that ... the design is really really really confusing. So my ideas to improve it:
- Minimum Information on incomming requests shouldn't be hidden in a hover info, because they only last 10 seconds and moving the mouse up and down is tirering and makes it harder than it has to be. - Houses block the view on tiles behind them, this could be solved with a minimap or a second perspective, or a button to blend out all houses or X-Ray for the hovered tile - Hovering should be visible - Hover info for UI buttons when a tile is selected - Also a hover effect over incomming requests, when they can be clicked - And a pause menu to think about some strategies and exit the game in a more convenient way would be awesome
I hope my suggestens are of any help for personal improvement. Once I figured it out, I saw some potential in the idea.
@leorid Thnak you for trying and figuring this out. More description is on the itch page. One thing I would add to your already awesome summary is: the dynamite needs people to be out of the building, the bomb does not. As for improvement suggestions (I appreciate them all) - I get all of them, there is a lot to fix with this game. One of them is to lower the number of tiles and make the map more readable (there werer already graphics for 2x1 tiles in along with roads to separate the tiles).
very good name for your game here lol
Yep, totally got lured in by the name. I couldn't really figure out how to fulfill building requests. Even after buying land, I couldn't get anything to build on them.
Great game !! really good concept. Got stuck in middle for a while but figured out the way later. Awesome work for a limited time jam. You should go with this concept further. Please do check out my submission as well.
Took me a bit to get how the game works. Still didn't know what all the buttons did but I managed to enjoy the game for a while. The mechanics work nicely and makes for a hectic yet enjoyable game. More and easier to glance information for the player would be nice. Very nice game though!
Super chaotic and fun! Title's a bit sus though...
Interesting concept, though pretty difficult to understand & play in practice. I was able to buy land and fulfill those orders but emptying/destroying the buildings was a bit confusing since I didn't really understand the other icons, plus you don't necessarily need to destroy stuff until you get deeper into the game. The 10 second timer is pretty brutal as well. "Downtown" also felt a bit synonymous with "center" so that confused me for a bit. Map was kinda hard to read/interact with once you put a bunch of buildings down, so in retrospect I probably should have tried to destroy more buildings just to alleviate that, but that wasn't super obvious at the time. I liked the graphical style & audio though. Nice work!
