The clean aesthetics of this game are really nice, especially combined with the relatively straightforward gameplay. I was a little confused by how you can hold down to repair though. It seems like it only ever took a single click to repair an item. Do the later items require you to hold down longer? Or did you just want to add a cool animation? :)

@cafebeef things from my backlog that never made it into the game: 1. While using the tool, make mouse sensitivity very low (that did not really work on the browser) 2. Give tools health, so it takes longer to fix them (as health also requires some sort of feedback for when the piece is fixed I did not even start to tackle that.

But I think the same way as you :) Thank you for your feedback!

Pretty intuitive game with a great progression curve. The only thing that was a bit strange is, that it started without any proper instructions. But cause it's so intuitive it's okay I guess. Had a great time playing your game! :)

Wow, this is very polished entry. The puzzle is simple but somehow you managed to sneak in a challenge in there. The factory aesthetics is just too clean and awesome. Excellent work!

This is great. I love the simple elegance of it, and the soundtrack is perfect. I would have liked the difficulty to escalate just a bit faster. I was also surprised to find that you really just need to tap the area rather than spend time on it. It might be an interesting design experiment to look at longer "drill" times.

I found out your music is exactly the same as this one from 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzk0ma8zQ_U.

This goes against the Compo rules, as you have to create all assets yourself. When submitting the game, you're even asked explicitly to confirm so. **Cheating** is extremely unfair to those who put the effort of making the games entirely on their own.

Hi,

I am sorry for being accused of cheating and I excluded myself from the audio rating. I though I was generating random music tracks through this generator https://www.fakemusicgenerator.com/ that I found on this resource site: https://github.com/kobitoko/Game-Jam-Tools-Resources#music

I though it would generate random and unique tracks and as this one was rather fitting i went with it. I was not aware that it’s just pre generated music. All other sound effects where recorded by myself through my own microphone ans slightly edited in audacity.

I am deeply sorry and guarantee that everything else is drawn, coded and animated by myself.

Neat little game! I got a score of 6825. I liked the difficulty ramp up, that felt paced pretty well. Nice, clean aesthetics, audio was good.

Fakemusicgenerator, I think, _does_ generate random tracks, however, like all pseudo-random generation, it starts with a seed, so there's some chance someone else has generated the same random track before (or, generated all possible tracks and uploaded them all to YouTube... ^_^). I'm sorry you were accused of cheating, it seems like you were within the rules and should be allowed to be rated on audio - can't hurt to call out that the music was generated by that site though in the description here, then anyone who hears it and thinks it sounds familiar can be reassured. I also thought it sounded familiar, but all music from that site often sounds pretty familiar, even if not identical ;).

really nice hectic game, really enjoyed my time spent playing, I got to the 8th level and then lost my mind as it amped up to 11 haha great job, can't believe you got all this together for compo, amazing gj

Very polished effort. Neat and coherent look. Simple gameplay and easy to grasp, with the length of time need to make a fix the only unclear bit really. It wasn't the most fun - a bit too easy for most of the time and then very difficult at the top level, but I think a little of tweaking of the difficulty curve could really improve this a lot. A bit more depth and variety of gameplay would make this very replayable I think. As I say though, very polished, plays very smoothly, easy to get in to - good stuff!

fun game! got a bit hectic, but on my second playthrough I think I figured out how to cheese it a bit  100k.png

I played this on stream, if you want to watch the vod it's here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1628015648?t=1h30m00s

Hi @badcop thank you for playing and your feedback! You were right that the difficulty does not increase anymore after the blinking scale. It was great seeing you playing!

About the audio, I already wrote it in the comments, but I generated the music with the https://www.fakemusicgenerator.com/ but it turns out it was not really randomly generated as I though it would be. Thats also why I opted-out of the Audio as I though music generation is allowed but this site is just not generating random music...

Thanks for taking the time playing and its great to watch someone and get feedback! <3

Ha! Very cool game! Awesome!

Cute game, nice graphics with fun sound effects. I got 8580 on my first play-through. It may be a bit too easy to spam/wipe the tool over the pieces. Having different controls for the tool might help the "spam to win" sense. But well designed game overall

Cool game. Looks good and has nice gameplay.
