Hahaha love the dark humor in this! That opening "ITS PIZZA TIME B****" definitely surprised me. Fun little cooking simulator!

Super charming presentation with lots of dark humor. Really wished it had some music but I had fun nonetheless. Good job!

i loved this game, i really like how you added voice acting, that's really good for a game jam game :D, the polish on this game is awesome. The only thing missing is some music, and it can get confusing whether the text refers to the pizza on the right or the left, so i would change that, so that it is clear WHAT pizza i am actually making. And maybe i would make the critics more easily distinguishable from normal customers, maybe with a red outline for their bubble or something similar. Overall, very good game, just needs slight adjustments and it will be perfect!

I like your humour in game jam game. It spends out from other game (including our game :o ). Nice entry and good pizza good (to die for)!
This game is funny, well presented, and impressively complete. There are some minor issues that I came upon. The way the pizzas in the pizza book are labeled I found confusing and caused me to accidently click the wrong one multiple times. On that same note, I'm not sure if there need to be so many kinds of pizza. Just 3-5 might be better, or maybe more could be added as you go to increase the challenge. Also, instead of running on a 3 minute timer, what if it just got faster until you lost? This way, the game could start out slower, which I think would be an improvement. It also wasn't clear to me how the theme is implemented. Do the customers appear every ten seconds? It felt more frequent than that.
On a positive note, the title screen is great, the full tutorial is impressive and very helpful, and being able to gun down customers in cold blood is hilarious. It's clear that you guys used your time well and fully realized your vision.

@quinn-patrick Thank you for the feedback. I agree with most of your points, and I feel like making an updated version soon. About the theme, I felt like I could have implemented it better, but the customer's hunger lasts 10 seconds. I probably should have made that more obvious...
Thank you for your game. At the first start, I overlooked the tutorial an went right into the game, where I died after just a few seconds. I was a bit surprised that the tutorial has voice acting. It also is very good and explains the game in great detail. After that I played a few rounds. In the end I managed to get a score of 4156... The style of the game is very consistent and it has clear game mechanics. As an improvement I think shortcuts to open/close the order menu were good (If there are, then I just overlooked them). And the game would also benefit from music. Still, these are just tips for improvements and the game in its current form makes quite some fun to play.
That was quite fun! Some simple background music would make it even better.
It's a fun concept. I like the idea of managing both making the pizzas and checking for critics, takes a lot of multitasking skills. I guess the general consensus is that it needed some music, something fast-paced. Kudos for the voice acting in the tutorial, it was super funny. Overall, I think you nailed the game loop and artstyle, great job!

I like the black humor in this :). The tutorial was fun, I really appreciate the effort you put in that! It was a bit difficult at times to see what pizza I was making, and some music would have been nice, but other than that, it's one my favorite entries I've come across yet!

@last-angle I also really enjoyed the dark humor. Something about the flippancy with the deadly aspects of the game was really fun. The tutorial was great, both in presentation and just helpfulness. I tried to play once without the tutorial and was totally lost, but having the tutorial as a new-employee-orientation-video sort of thing was great for immersion and it really did teach me how to play!
Like others have said before, some pizza restaurant background music would help a lot with the ambiance. Also, needing to constantly flip between the pizza making screen and the pizza delivering screen felt like a UX pain-point. But the game itself was fun, humorous, and a fun take on the theme! The shock humor of the giant monster thing devouring the corpses of the customers also got me really well, I think you guys handled the humor masterfully.
Also appreciated the diversity in the customers. Nice representation :)
@jonmerrin Thank you for the comment. I had a fun time developing those darker aspects. And I want to try doing something about the UX at some point... Also, I actually wanted more kinds of people and clothing in the game, but I never found the time to accomplish this. I hope to add things like that into a future post-jam version.
I like the concept! But the game control is a bit annoying: Is hard to cook a pizza quickly and accurately because of the UI design, especially the cooking UI is to be improved. Still a great entry!

Funny game. Gotta love letting patrons know you aren't putting up with their sh*t and blasting them away. It would be funny if other nearby patrons ran in panic if they witnessed someone get shot. :D
I loved the concept! But I didnt like the way the UI works really much, for example, the place where the names and the images of the pizzas are in the cooking UI made me get confused a lot of times and seemed wrong for me.

Haha this game was hilarious, fun, and hectic. Both of your voice acting added the cherry on top. Felt like I had to juggle a lot at once, but can definitely see how skill can impact my score.
