This has got to be one of the most solid LD entries I've seen in a while. Sure it's simple but it's one of the most unique takes on a text adventure I've seen (I have only seen like 1-2 text adventures..) and it makes great use of the theme. I loved trying to figure out what was going on and how to fix it and the beeping alarm made things incredibly stressful (Why did you opt out of mood? I would've given 5 stars for how anxious I got every time I heard the beeping start.) There were a couple spots of good humour in there and what can I say about the graphics other than they leave nothing to be desired. Awesome entry!!!

Interesting theme use, really is not every 10 seconds, it's the same 10 seconds.

I really really liked this one! The story was funny and interesting and figuring out what was going on was a really fun puzzle :) And wow everything is super clean and neat and polished ! Gonna remember this one for a while, super clever stuff <3

I liked it a lot! The interactive fiction + loop combo reminded me of my LD47 entry "State your name". It's a bit hard to read properly for non native english speakers but otherwise very solid. The UI is really neat too.

Got out in 26 loops. I'll have to echo was others said. This is probably the most interesting text adventure I've ever played. I mean that literally because generally you have an idea of what to expect out of these sorts of games. But the concept and especially the interface you explore the world with are especially new and immersive.

I'm impressed at how few elements you needed to make the player feel like and escape a time loop. I've certainly played time loop games before, but you always had a lot more graphics to sell the gameplay. Here, with the secret word use and experimenting with different machine states, you put the player in the shoes of the character instead of just playing an avatar. The game surpassed all the expectations I had from just that screenshot, which is honestly really unassuming!

Quite good entry. Nice take on the theme. I'd prefer if the phone didn't extend as the chat went on. Or is that just a side effect to the recursion? :thinking:

Fantastic entry. I love the slow realization of what's going on, the creeping science fiction horror atmosphere, and the intensity of trying to communicate as quickly as possible. And I felt tremendous relief when I finally broke the loop!

The writing really is brilliant. I think this is an excellent example of video games as a storytelling medium. You put me right in the middle of the story, got me invested in it, and made me part of it, with just a few words and buttons. Major kudos.

The emoji counter at the end is an excellent touch 😄

This is a masterpiece! I love the idea! So unique and interesting... Short but very very sweet game. Definitely a game I'll remember. Thank you for coming up with something so original! You did so much with such a simple concept and what is essentially a text adventure (quite literally a texting adventure in this case haha)

I enjoyed this entry a lot, and just like some previous comments said, this is an entry you will remember. Which in my opinion is the best compliment one can give.

this was a super fun game and the moment i saw a text pop up with choices i got so excited!! really liked the audio cue that indicated when the 10 seconds would be up. really clever use of the theme and i loved the interaction between the two people. the messages were really funny to read and i liked that the player could react with certain emojis. super fun game, well done!!
