This is a great entry! A very novel idea well executed. I like the enemy variety, especially. A couple things I would change: it's good that the movement is fast, but an option to go slow would also be good. Going fast all the time makes it difficult to position myself under the ball and weave through bullets. Also, it seems unnecessary for even the weakest enemies to take multiple hits. It just makes the gun feel weak, especially when I can get bombs so easily, which are so much stronger. Usually if I'm griping about balance, though, it's a pretty good sign for an LD game. Great job.
What a great idea for an arena shooter. Brings me back to childhood memories. One of those cool things where you're like--I haven't seen this before--why haven't I seen this before, it's an awesome idea! I really liked how you included the ability to collect bombs via power-ups too. The interplay of the three different goals (shoot stuff, collect stuff, keep the ball up) makes for some really interesting gameplay. My only minor gripe is I do feel like the controls hampered the gameplay a little bit--the fast movement made it pretty hard to aim, in particular. I would personally have enjoyed more of a twin stick/mouse aim setup, but maybe that's just personal taste. The art and sound are clear and communicate the gameplay well. Overall, fantastic work!

Great entry! Nice art and cool gameplay! It's a little bit hard to control so speedy character by keyboard.
Really good idea for a bullet hell, having a positioning mechanic to manage is an interesting challenge. I felt the controls could allow for a bit more precision, maybe with a twin stick setup, but overall this is executed very well
Like the multitasking mechanic and different enemies but the movement controls could be more responsive, especially stopping the character. I found it hard to aim with keyboard but avoiding everything and mostly collecting bombs worked well too (until a certain point).
A fun game!

Incredible game! Nice idea & mechanics. Wish the player could aim with mouse instead of keyboard so that you could move and shoot independently. Some ways of restoring health would also be great. Found the game quite hard, could barely last even a minute. Still enjoyed it, though, great job!

Really cool concept. Managed a modest 1 minute and 1 second ^^. Like other, the control are a bit too sensitive but i got used to it. Hard game but I liked it ! Great job.

Fun twist on bullet hell games and I liked the challenge of balancing my actions between keeping the ball up, getting bombs and shooting. The audio effects were nice too but because of the lack of music most of the time it was just silence which was kind of awkward for this intense game.
The controls were weird because the speed helped me when I had to collect powerups and catch up with the ball, it was hard to actually _hit_ the ball. It seemed that the hitbox was forgiving though.
Overall the game is a very good entry, it looks polished in every aspect. What I can say though is that shooting the same direction that you walk didn't feel good as was limiting my movements. Maybe that was the idea, but it makes the game hard in a way that for me is just via limiting the player controls. That said, awesome job!!
I like the concept! Took me a bit to realize to press space to start the game, and that I couldn't shoot the ball, but I got there. Definitely fits the theme as it's very difficult.

Had hard time trying to manage my attention between the ball, the enemies and the controls at the start. But the difficulty curve is very nice. Very well polished.

This is really polished - great job. My only wish is that I could use an analog stick on controller instead of jus the D-pad, to have finer control - but perhaps that's part of the challenge!

I liked there was so much going on and a good mix of shooter mechanics. It was pretty clear visually too with red enemies and bullets and the shadow beneath the ball. Just thought the game was loading or stuck at the splash screen because there was no prompt to start the game so I ended up pressing random keys until I got into the game.
