I love the music and visual is also pretty good. The gameplay is okay, but most of time there is not happening much. Overall is pretty good and well made compo game. Well done.

``` Me : Missed the gun and lost in the corridors, and press E frenetiquelly but nithing happen. Finally : See the weapon along a wall, press E and i taken it. **Music was changed !!!!** **i hearded footsteps of the monster** **i ran in the corridors, the lights shutdown and swith** **It's time shoot the monster this is the only solution** **killed...ended? I'm in the backroom?** ``` I have delay the inevitable i think ! Impressive for only 24 hours, the mood particulary, the usage of sounds and music, and the lights too. You made a very good job, that's a good start for an horror FPS with more developping time.
I really enjoyed the wonderful atmospheric mood of the game! For a first time 3D game its fantastic! I love how you have crafted the corridors - a seemingly endless array of space but no matter what just awaiting the unavoidable doom! I really enjoyed the sound design - the echoing steps, the adrenaline rush music when you pick up the gun etc! Really well done!
One bug I found mainly was I think sometimes with the spawning and pathing of the enemy - It happened like twice where the enemy was following my path, but I was basically behind the enemy and therefore no consequences as I could just casually walk behind him without any issue as he only kept going forward.
Although this is something I personally found a little tiring was having to launch the application every time the monster caught me! Would have preferred having a main screen you are taken back to once you are caught instead of just closing the program!
Overall a great work which I really enjoyed playing! Keep up the wonderful work
@jk5000 I agree with you, I should've made the monster more aggressive. The game can be a bit slow at times.
@robowarrior1982 Haha, the monster will teleport away when you shoot it too many times. It will still get you eventually thought. He can turn off lights as well as time progresses.
@danashrulez Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I agree that it's annoying having to relaunch the application every time you die, I just didn't have time to make a main menu. About the exploit of just following the monster around, I wish I had made him able to turn around lol...
Thank you guys for playing my game :)
Nice to see other Godot games :)
I liked the ambiance a lot, but I wish there were more enemies at the start and that there was less downtime. Also the game crashed once the monster got me. Overall I like the PS1-esque aesthetic, but I was hoping to just mow down hordes of enemies
Nice job on the music! I don't know it fits but it was well made. Cool graphics and just seeing him around the corner may or may not have jumpscared me a couple times. The AI seems a bit random though, in the sense of it "just" walks around, even if you look at it he can turn around or away.
PS. I saw the donut ;)
Interesting idea. Was pretty freaky, but I liked it. The window was oddly shaped though for me. Not sure if that was intentional. Also, not sure if the monster takes any damage, it wasn't clear if shooting actually did anything. Still interesting idea and loved the atmosphere.
Excellent atmosphere and mood! Seeing the lights go out and the rumblings increase in strength is just so good.
Music is great too, but could be made more spooky maybe? It has a slight mismatch with the rest of the game. Perhaps splitting it in two separate tracks would help, one actiony like it is now for when the baddie is chasing you, and the other more ambient for when it's just wandering around while out of sight.
Anyway, it's a minor point, it's still an excellent experience!
This would be a very good 'horror' game if the music was not so up-beat. The music gives it the "doom" vibe, but the gameplay is the opposite. Give it eerie music and I would have freaked out.. especially better since I was going into this game thinking I was going to kill monsters but the reality was I had no chance.
That said the music IS great though. Nice job for 3d modeling and animating everything, even using your own textures.
This is a real horror in which it's scary. At first, I did not understand why I was walking along the corridor with a gun, and when the screamer found me, it really became scary. I really liked the soundtrack. Good job.
Kudos for a very nicely done game with lots of scary feeling. Great gfx, nice music and a very good game, esp. considering You did it in 24 hours!
A good 3D shooter where you have to run from the monster. Well polished, smooth. This can make an impressive horror game
This is excellent for a first 3D game and only in 24hrs! The atmosphere is cool, I like the way the music builds up. I tend to agree with @ryne that the music gave it a more DOOM vibe than creepy, if that's what you were going for.
It took me a while to find the monster, I wasn't sure if there was going to be anything to shoot (I'll be honest I didn't read the description before playing) so I just wandered around for a while and had a bit of a jump scare when it did appear.
One thing I noticed is it feels like the player is a `RigidBody` with acceleration and a sort of weightiness and momentum, which is cool if you're going for realism. For game feel I tend to prefer `KinematicBody` driven player with instantaneous movement - while less realistic it just feels a bit more like the controls are connected with the player. Also I noticed the gun starts shaking when you aim down sights while running, that might be related to the physics especially if the gun is a child of the player.
I love the dolly zoom effect while sprinting, that's a nice touch. Nice work!
Great job for a 24h 3d entry! I would add some kind of story and some notes scattered around so the player would have an incentive to try again :)
Loved the graphics! The gameplay was a bit too easy, running away from the monster that is. Also could have benefited from a score or some other metric, as the gameplay seemed endless. Loved how the game closed itself after losing
i love the mood and the concept but in dont realy understand what is the inevitable, i go in a corner and stay all time and the monster never kill me
Scary and cool! The music is nice. Well Done!
