The graphics are excellent! The gameplay is a little hard for me, I can't choose an upgrade without getting shot! Colour scheme is also great :)

It's a fun game and I think the mechanic of using time as currency is great and how you can get time from defeating enemies, but I didn't see the shop at first and didn't realize until my fourth game that I needed to hover my mouse over it and then press E to buy.

Really fun game! I kept feeling super confident and bought too many upgrades at once... only for the enemies to absolutely delete me immediately.

Great work!

Cool graphics and audio :) I'm not sure how I'm supposed to buy things, I don't see a currency counter ? Also I find the game super hard, enemies pop up super fast and makes ton of damage.

Cute little game! I love the palette. I agree that it can be quite difficult to purchase things. I think it would have been cool to have health bars appear over the enemies to know how much life they have left. Maybe the lack of feedback on successful hits is what I'm getting at 😅

I love the pixel art, the shooting feels alright, if there was a little feedback on hitting enemies like flashing white or knockback it would take it to the next level. I don't understand what buying more time does? It seems like it just loses you time. Overall I really like it.

Looks and sounds great, gameplay is solid. I think some feedback (animation, particle effect or something) on hitting an enemy would give a better game feel. All in all pretty good game.

Nice work! Graphics and music is really goood! really Like the chiptune!

wavertron 2022-04-05 22:06

Tough game. Perhaps the shooting speed by the enemies could have started slow then ramped up, I didnt last very long. Great 2-bit(?) graphics, audio matches, and music. I wish there was full screen option, it was a little hard to target the enemies when everything was so small on my screen. Great job

Love how you used the theme with the shop mechanic.

The game is hard! I like the art for the characters, they look very warm!

Very cute shooter. I died a lot.

Loved the colour pallete and how effective it was. It was a cool idea to have your life be time and have that also act as currency. Unfortunately though, the rate of fire of your weapon really made this very frustrating. Adding to that was the high rate of fire of enemies. Seems like the odds are a little too stacked against you. It is definitely a nice idea though, just in need of some balancing

scootaloozamyslona 2022-04-08 12:46

@badpiggy Hey BadPiggy! In mind, we wanted to make a game where you often die, but I have to agree that the curve of difficulty is too high for most of the players. I will try to take care of it, and make the game more accessible >.<

scootaloozamyslona 2022-04-08 12:51

@boykala Yea. It's a shame that we didn't add some feedback on enemy hit.

The game may be really smol if you're playing on a monitor with higher resolution than 1920x1080. In that case, the best solution will be to change page scale to higher. :3

scootaloozamyslona 2022-04-08 12:57

@juhrjuhr Sumedh Natu created this palette. Link to palette: https://lospec.com/palette-list/rusty-steam.

We added one darker and lighter green, to make enemies and details more stand out.

@scootaloozamyslona thanks! I didn't know about that site

Very well done graphics. It's nice that there are particle effects. I would add in the UI a marker showing the upgrade level of our weapons, it only shows ammo upgrade. I would add more types of enemies and expand with more rooms between which you can move freely ( like in Issac).
