I like a good crafting game, but it needs som sort of guide. i could not figure out how to get rope, and without rope i feel like i was stuck right away.

I love pixelart, effects and character design. Gameplay is also great.
@Leiv-Erik try "I" for crafting!
Reminds me of forager, but i think it gets boring because all you are really doing is standing in front of objects and holding left click the whole time.
I like the concept and would have dug deeper into it, but some bugs made it quite uncomfortable to play. Overall I like the theme implementation and also the ability to build and craft stuff. The art is nicely done and the gameplay fairly simple, yet in enables you to go deeper. The music and sfx are fitting very well into the overall feel.
Punching trees and stones felt tedious and time consuming, also sometimes tyradine bars were demanded but I could not find a stone within the given time to find an ore to craft it.
A few bugs I encountered: - After sacrificing materials, the UI did not update properly and sometimes left me confused - sacrificing two sheeps quickly after each other results in a funny text display - the flute is really loud (or intended? :^)) - after losing, I could not play the game again, although I pressed the play button as hard as I could - I placed down a workbench and tried to place a furnace, the blueprint spawned inside the workbench and did not let me build it. - the pickaxe did not increase the damage on stones (maybe this is a wrong expectation from me)
Nice game! I got stuck after walking far from the altar, also the sheep didn't disappear after I sacrificed it and I was unable to do other actions. But a very nice game!
@his-games Ah i see! I didnt see that written anywhere, maybe i missed it?
Anyways had a replay with that in mind, hit a few bugs, but all in all i had a good time! nice job :)
I'm a little confused. The first time I played this the gods asked for 2 rock, all was good. I did the task and than found the crafting stations (not sure what I did). On my second try the asked for an iron bar. No furnace to be found anywhere, only rope (when clicking "I"). Do I need to have all the materials to see more crafting options? The music is nice :) The visuals simple but sufficient :)
@Labete press the gear in the top right, that's where the build options are
I really, really want to love and play this game but I can *not* figure out how to submit something to the altar. I tried on Firefox and couldn't move at all; my character would spin left and right if I hit A/D but W/S did nothing. So now I'm on chrome, and I have the materials collected, but I can't seem to submit them to the altar.
I'll try again after being told how to sacrifice things! :)

Sorry for the mass ping, but I have worked hard on minimizing bugs, and would be very grateful for a replay! The game is now easier, more adapted for playing, and more importantly: largely works! I tried to squash all the bugs you guys named, and hopefully you can now experience the game I created for you. I'm sorry you had to see it in a rough a state as it was. Naturally, it all came down to two lines of code in the player :/
Cute game! I had fun playing! I do wish there was a bit more variation in the gameplay, but it's a game jam. Overall, great job, be proud!
Cute little game, I enjoyed it.
Good work!
Fun game! I got unusually into it up until then point when i could'nt figure out how to get brick...! Really fun concept and nice music.
Fantastic graphics / animations and music! Quite polished.
@dingdingding Thank you! Brick is clay and rock in a furnace!
@daniel-username Thanks for your feedback!
Hello! I wasn't enough for the gods apparently haha! I liked the game!
What I've noted:
- Sound is TOO LOUD! - Crafting shouldn't available on a button with an "option" logo - I liked to sacrifice sheeps >:)
Anyway great job!
Very nice graphics, very consistent! Fitting music. Impressive what you did within 72 hours! To me (not a keyboard, mouse player) the controls felt a bit clunky (e.g. getting out of the crafting menue only with TAB, but not by just clicking outside). Congratulations for such a large scope game!
This has forager written all over it. I don't personally like time pressure in such a crafting game but I see how it might have appeal for others. There's some satisfaction to be had from anticipating the upcoming sacrifices, getting a little bit further the more you replay it. I felt a little suffocated by the UI elements, things were generally too large and overlapped a fair bit. Nice effort overall!
I could have played this for a lot longer, which is both a positive and a negative. It made starting a second game feel less tempting as I knew it'd take me 15 mins to catch up to where I'd previously achieved. The gameplay in grinding material gathering games like this isn't for everyone, but I liked that there were different weapons to choose and that you were able to position yourself to mine efficiently. I think the UI interactions could be improve, mostly the visibility of a buildings actions when you interact with it, and the closing of menu's once they are already open. Great that you managed to fit a lot of depth in regarding crafting.
I got so sucked into it, I played twice for about 20 Minutes each. Unfortunately it crashed.. I would love to have a windows build to actually build everything and then give proper feedback again. I loved it! Please fix the crash! Nothing particularly happened, I just know it happened after ~20 Minutes
@manio thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much! I have fixed the crashes (I hope) and put a windows build up on my itch. Feel free to try again!

Thank you! I had extreme slowdowns with the fast gear when hitting 3+ objects at once. But it didn't crash yaay! I think the music is really fitting and great for this game! First I was wondering why it didn't loop perfectly, but when playing for like 30 minutes, it's okay to have a bit of silence after a while.
You need iron bars and blue bars so often, I wish you could create multiple at a time. The green and red gems were almost never used although they almost take as much effort to get as the blue ones. Are the totems and books/pages useful for anything else but sacrifices?
I wish you would get some kind of punishment for sacrificing sheep, hence the name. Because in the late game I was going back and forth between sacrificing sheep during the process of creating a blue gem bar.
Now that I think about it.. could I have built more than one of each gadget/workbench?
God if done right, these kinda games really suck me in haha.
Thanks!
I am definitely going to keep working on it, and add things like multi-crafting and other quality of life mechanics. I need to work on the lag, but it was a small price to pay for no crashes. I know how to stop both, but I will need to spend some time doing it. Thank you very much for your feedback, and I'm super happy you enjoyed it so much!
@manio
Wow! I don't know how your team manage to do so much. Reminded me of forager... with sacrifices. I enjoyed a lot discovering new things to build and trying to remember that I should appease the god, is not just about me making everything fancy. LOL. Well done!
Such a charming little game! The graphics and audio are very well done-I loved the music in particular. The gameplay loop is fun in how it encourages experimentation and exploration of the uses of the resources the player currently has. It does run into the issue of a lack of incentive or motivation to get back to where you were after reaching a game over. This is mainly due to the fact that it resets the player back to square one. A gameplay loop that encourages exploration of the current uses of resources like this one does can run into problems if the player can't easily hop back into exploring those new resources (if there aren't other mechanics to keep the player entertained), since it basically forces the player to tread old ground. Some people may enjoy that experience, though, so it's a preference sort of thing. Overall, this was a very well done game. Congrats!
A lot of fun, I feel like what could have been a mundane survival crafting game turn into a somewhat frantic survival resource management game. Good job!
