I like the theme for the game! As a hug fan of opossums, I give this 2 opposable thumbs up! As for the gameplay, I noticed that my character could walk off the top of the screen during a fight, which made it impossible to see. Fun stuff overall!
I loved the game's theme and the reference in subway music! :)
Funny and clear gameplay, but for there is no animation, I almost thought I couldn't attack lol...

The music are cool, it was fun to spot the bass line from Mario underground levels in the subway xD Graphics are funny, I would have loved to have some animations and a more impactful sound design to make the game more juicy! It wa fun to play a possum, well done!
This gave me a good laugh! Where did you get that music??? I loved the overall style and theme. I totally understand the time/resource limitations of a jam, but it could have used some more player feedback when attacking, interacting, etc. Even a one frame animation for the attack, or a single flash red when taking damage. But other than that, really fun concept and I'd love to see it expanded/polished up.
You pretty much won me over at the title screen. Really great and fitting music. I enjoyed the different "playing dead" interactions with enemies and it made the enemy counters pretty varied and difficult at the end. I wish there was a bit more feedback on the spacebar actions as others have mentioned, but the play dead sprite is so good that it honestly evens out
Is it possible to restart the level when I die? I want to see the end of the game but I keep dying at level 3 :(

As someone who also made music for this jam, the music was top notch. I really liked the theme to stage one. A bit more feedback on actions would have been nice, but the theme and ideas were solid.

Realy nice music. I helped opossum to get to his mate, and I was proud of myself!
This was fun and an interesting game. The music was apsolutely beautiful! I loved how you made the attack noises match the music. Very well done! :D

Good work ! I was able to complete the game (I think, I found an other opossum and nothing happen X)). I saw some SFML files, that means homemade engine game ! I know how it's challenging so I'm not picky on the lack of global feedback. The "play dead" sprite made me smile :)
I like minimalist art styles like this but would have loved to see some animations too.

wasn't quite sure what the stats of health and stability affected/were affected by while playing, but i did enjoy the overall ambience of this game. liked the music in the subway station and was a fan of the playing dead sprite :)
I really liked the music in this one! I would have loved to have seen some animations for walking/fighting/eating trash, but I understand that time is always short on these types of projects. One thing I discovered about partway through is that you can actually keep attacking if you hold Space while holding X. This makes some of the fights fairly trivial, because the enemies don't attack while you're playing dead, and you can pop back up for a brief second to keep them from running away. That aside, it was a fun little adventure, and I laughed at having to eat garbage to keep my stability from running down. Nice job!
Loved the idea, but there was no player feedback when getting hit (sfx with animation would be nice), I died I did not know why until I saw the health counter, other than that, it's a nice fun little game)
It's neat concept, but the lack of animations made it pretty hard to feel a sense of actually interacting with anything. Man I loved the splash art though!
It really misses a lot of feedback fore sure, but the game idea is nice. It’s funny enough to play and I totally see a more refined version of this game.
Kudos for the opossum.
