Really fun game, I liked how the environment changed with the ghost goggles. And the EMF is cool.
Fun game! I struggled with the mechanic of picking up the batteries, maybe help them pop more from the background. Loved the visuals and the gameplay felt unique.
Took me a while to figure out how ammo, killing ghosts, rifts and turning on goggles was related, but then everything clicked and I went for hunting rifts and ghost! I like the town, the player animation and how the ghosts appear near you. And even the credits are well made. Thumbs-Up!

I really liked the goggle mechanic, it made the combat interesting. I think as a proof of concept this was a cool and unique entry. Simple controls, but a nice twist on top down shooters. Nice Work!
Really nice way to design everything around a few mechanics, like using EMF for shooting, locating _and_ health, it worked really well in my opinion!
Really nice simple game. Movement speed was a little too fast but game was fun and enjoyable. Great entry!
I thought it was fun, really liked the art style. It would have been nice if you didn't pick up a battery if you were already at full charge, as I kept walking over piles of them and being like "welp."

I like the 3 bullet mechanic and the portal mechanic. The player was a bit too fast making it which got rid of any reason to fight the ghost.
Cool, simple game. Good job! Enemy collisions with houses would be nice to maybe keep them from all stacking into one blob
Cute game, I liked the aesthetic and the mechanic. It needed some tuning though - it felt like I was cheesing the game, running around quickly and killing the occasional ghost to fix a rift. You could take that mechanic in some interesting directions.
The ammo being limited is the most annoying thing, but I think besides that you've done a pretty nice job. The art is pretty cute, and the gimmicks are interesting (if not explained). I hope you take this further!
Very nice game - I managed to beat it without ever figuring out what "searching for the nearest haunted house" does :) What is the right click for, for simply finding where the ghosts are? Or are the haunted houses where the rifts were?
To follow up on some of your comments: @andresbochi @chillertyp Yeah, I wanted the map to be big, but then it felt like you were moving way too slow unless I made the movement speed be super fast, so I ended up with Sanic lol @triggthediscovery That's a good idea, and it wouldn't be hard to implement "if battery full then don't pick up battery", thanks for the suggestion! @exmxpx But, they're G H O S T S, why would they collide with houses? :smiley: If I had a bit more time I'd have probably added in some steering behavior to make them move away from each other and not stack up, will definitely keep that in mind @ditam When you search for the nearest haunted house, as long as you have at least 1 pip of battery left, you should literally see a line pointing from your character towards the closest house which has a rift that still needs to be closed (provided there's any rifts left, shown at the top of the screen)

Well done, I had fun playing this game. In my opinion, slowing down the player movement just a little bit would be better.
It is a fun game to play and I liked the goggle mechanics. I would probably make the bullets a bit larger.

Heya! Cute dude! I thought the mechanic that I could only shoot the little ghosts when they got close to me was really cool ^_^, I also felt I would in a bit of a fever dream when running around with the contrast of the ground. I think if you just made a little less contrast it would help! Good job :)!
