Fun little game! I guess seeing as the camera doesnt go up when you reach the top you have to use the small blocks as well to be able to stack 15 crates without the tower going off the screen.
The original plan was to use Tetris shaped like pieces, but Box2D did not like those. And when I started this project I had no knowledge about the Love2d Physics system. The moving camera would add some flair. I might add that in a future update :)
Little, but funny game! Thank you!
I gave up on like 8, is it possible to beat it? Great game got me playing and laughing! I'd add a higher going upper screen limit otherwise it's hard to add boxes to higher towers. Also maybe some theme, to make it a bit cuter, like Amazon fulfillment center simulator lol.
Башня, башня... Что ж ты никак не строишься... Оказывается, быть строителем - куда тяжелее, чем им не быть! Спасибо! ^_^
game_H5slijRxkm.png @chesiq Yes it is possible :)
@Immow holy shit dude.. speechless
Fun little game. Sometimes the physics is maybe too punishing. I always got to 10+ and then unfortunately destroyed whole tower by smashing the block to it. It's the type of game you have to play until you beat it or until you beat your computer.
This is really hard, but fun! Interesting that the goal is to stack 15 crates instead of building a very high tower. The physics movement feels good, and even though the game is frustrating sometimes I always see it as my own fault. Good job!
I have spent more than an hour on this game so far, it's strangely addicting. I like how the concept is very simple, but there are a lot of cool tricks which you figure out after a while. One thing that I use a lot is to "hammer" in crates that are not placed well with another box. The physics are tweaked really well, whenever everything blows up it always feels like it was your own fault.
Oh and also, not to brag or anything, but I believe that I am one of the top Unstable Towers players in the world :sunglasses:

I managed to get to 26, going to try to reach 30 later. Since that picture I have found a new pro strat, the left and right walls go up to the screen top. This means that you can stack some crates there as well, 1 on each side is easy enough to do, getting two requires a lot of concentration since you have to visualize how the crate is moving outside of the screen. I have not yet managed to stack 3 on the sides, but it should be possible. That gives another 6 points. I think it should even be possible to pull off 35
All in all, great entry! :trophy:
Controlling is subtle and make the game a lot of fun. Nice job~!
I like the concept a lot, and it is strangely relaxing to play. I think it would help if the rotating was a little faster, because it was too slow to be of any use when I played. This gives me Getting Over It vibes with how all of your progress can be undone with a stay physics quirk. Still pretty cool though.
Very difficult game. Simple concept that's executed fairly well. But it feels a bit hard to control and kinda floaty. Having the rotation snap to 90 or 45 degrees would make it easier to control how/where you place your blocks. Nice work overall!
This is a fun straightforward stacking game! I liked being able to keep on moving the pieces even after they touched down.
It was fun and straight forward, felt the blocks dropped a little fast and maybe it wouldve been cool if you choose where to drop it from? It was cute and fun! Wished there was a little more background art
Neat game! At first I was about to write "nice relaxing game", but I change my mind :) I'm so frustrated with myself after knocking off all the block I was able to put XD I like this game. The music is really nice. Good job.
I like the music in this, it really made the overall experience more relaxing in stark contrast to the really difficult game play! My first time through, I didn't know about holding up to slow down the blocks, so I wondered how it was even possible to win. I came back and noticed that note and thought "hey, that will make this easy." Nope. Still not easy. Haha. I wasn't able to complete the game, but great job!
