Very cool game ! A dezoom might help when you're controlling the sword, but aside from that, it's really fun. Great job

Damn, I had so much fun playing this game. I really liked the mechanics you guys created and the overall mood of the game!
Love the concept, art style is nice too 😀
Great idea, I really enjoyed playing that, thanks. Epic name too
The game was fun to play, great mechanic ! It could be cool to have different type of ammo to collect and play with
That felt super empowering - the sword throwing was a really playful mechanic. Overall really consistent and polished job across the entire experience, although the music loop was a little repetitive and short. Great length and feels like something that would be fun to speedrun.
Really interesting game! I have clear the levels and feel that I'm a flying-sword master LOL.Simple and straight forward concept of gameplay make it easy to start. Good job!
Neat game and I liked the graphic style. Thanks for the work you put into making this game.
I think the camera should detach a bit sooner from the sword when you throw it, but I really love the whole concept and aesthetic going on here. It heels super satisfying even though it's such a simple and short game, very well done! Also, hooray for celebratory sword conga
Very pleasing looking game + quite fun. But most importantly it is innovative. Good job.
Cool game. I like the mechanics of controlling the swords, especially when dealing with shielding enemies. Not crazy about the music and sounds at all, sorry. The visuals were cute, and the wiggle is a nice touch and good and easy way to animate your characters. The particle effects like blood splatter and trails were satisfying.
There was more than a few times where it seemed like the swords were just going through the guys who shoot bullets. Not sure what happened there.
I would like to have seen a little more variety, but I understand the limitations in a jam. When I noticed there was no new enemies or mechanics being introduced I got a little bored. Good thing there were just a few levels
One idea would be to have different types of weapons which are more or less effective against different enemies.
Maybe something like fire swords against flesh, and electric swords against armor. Then the order in which you pick up your sword line-up kind of plays into your attacks. Just a thought.
I think it would also be cool if the straight flying swords did extra damage, or pierced enemies, so there was less control, but more damage.
Overall it's a good entry! Good job!

PS. I recommend looking into Unity's 2D Tilemap tool, and maybe even consider Unity's 2D Pixel Perfect camera.
This game is really fun! Shooting the sword and guiding it behind the enemy shields is very satisfying. I loved gathering my army of sword-missiles, and then scurrying to pick them up when I ran out. I like the retro graphics as well. And I love that the swords stay in the enemies until they die; seeing a monster chasing after me with a bunch of swords stuck in him is truly beautiful.
Occasionally my sword seemed to go through enemies without damaging them. Also, sometimes my sword would fly back to me when I didn't want it to; I think I was keeping my mouse too close to my character.
At one point I lured the shield enemies against a wall, then hid on the opposite side and killed them while they stood totally still, unable to get to me. Maybe that's a legitimate strategy? I felt like I was being cheap, but it was still satisfying.
The camera is a bit slow to follow the character; there were a few times when I ran right up to the edge of the screen and was damaged by an enemy who was offscreen a second earlier. I could circumvent the issue by using my sword as a scout, which was kind of funny.
The music fit the retro vibe, but it was very repetitive and not very interesting.
Those are all minor complaints, though. I started playing it again after I beat it because it's so fun. Great work!
I love the flying sword mechanic! reminds me of Ness in the N64 smash bros game or the super sheep from worms. I think maybe having a limit on the distance or fly time would be useful though, as i was mostly cheesing enemies from the other side of the map by the end. Or maybe just less of them so i had to collect more often. Times that i got conered and had to move my dude and the sword at the same time were awesome! a really rub-belly and pat-head ead style thing but im a wussy pants so ran away once i had a few more swords. ha. All in all an really cool entry! Great job!
Great game and really interesting mechanics! Was fun to play. The sound effects were a little jarring, would maybe make them a little less "sharp" of a sound. But other than that, really great game!
Good idea of mechanics! It is really original. Good job)
Great work. I had a good time playing.
I'll add some minor points where I think the game could be even better: - One of the SFX (at least on Firefox) was very broken and gratting (I'm not sure which) - The background music has a very short loop - The level transition is very sudden and be confused with death instead
But those are minor improvements to a game that is already pretty fun to play! Congratulations!
The sword throwing and movement in this was so much fun, really enjoyed playing with that mechanic. Did have an issue on the first screen where I was throwing the swords and didn't realise at first I could pick them up again from the walls so I got killed. Also had an issue where I wasn't able to restart the game every time I died so I had to instead restart the whole game. Not sure why that was happening. The art worked well and liked the movement of the swords and how they trailed behind you, thought it added a nice visual to play with.
