I like the story behind your game. Controls were simple, graphics and music was good. I didn't make it to China but was a fun game to play.

Nice little game, a bit scarce on the visual side but efficient and fun to play. Kudos for achieving this result in 48h!
Nice job in such a limited time! I really like the music and sfx. I especially enjoyed the score screen with how it tallies, grows in size and then the music seems to blend into the game music again when you hit replay. Very nice minor touches that add to it. Nice job!
I like the idea and story. I quite miss some health bar on the screen. Good job
I'm not sure where to start. I liked everything about this. The music was great. I loved how it was minimalistic when not playing but ramped up during game play. I'm a fan of endless runner type games so this was a lot of fun. The fact that I could turn on my controller and play was also relaxing. Great job!
Didn't make it to the China, but it was worth trying!
Pros:
- Dead-easy idea with good execution - Funny story behind the game - Like the simple graphics (apart from obstacles, but it's fine!)
Cons:
- Can I really reach China though? - After 400+ score, the game becoes to dense - Missing a healthbar - Hard to determine, what exactly is your hitbox. Ended up hitting stuff I though I would not hit.
Good job nontheless!
@mikoziq Thanks for your feedback ! Nah you can't reach China sadly, didn't have time to implement something to show that you reach it, and I didn't want to just pop a message to say "Heeeeey you reached Chinaaa" from nowhere without showing it in gameplay :see_no_evil:
Nice simplistic game. The type I expect from game jams. Good work!
Nice game; chill experience! Was more fun than I assumed it'd be from the screenshot with basic shapes :)
I might have hit a bug though - my score stayed locked at zero, even though I got fairly far (WebGL build, on Firefox, for reference).

Fun little game though! Good work!
@saintchristopher777 Thanks for the feedback ! That's strange indeed, I didn't try on firefox. Just to be sure, did you hit green boxes to gain score but the score didn't budge, or you just weren't aware you had to do so ? x)
Gave me some 'AAAaaaaa a reckless disregard for gravity vibes' which was a nice throwback. And was just alot of fun to play. I liked the music, which kept it light hearted, and I had to try a few times in order to see how high a score I could get. A leaderboard is a must! Good work.
@soarendev Ha ha, that's probably it! I just assumed I was supposed to dodge _all_ the boxes!
@cyzaine haha thanks^^ I didn't know the ref you mentionned, but thanks for this, it will be a great ref' for a possible post jam version o/
it's simple! but fun. and hard.
Nice and game and design. My mom did the same thing with digging to China, we were in the United States. Geography is clearly fluid when dealing with your kids.
Hey, for a game started 16h late this is a very solid entry. Reminds me of "AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity" on Steam which is a very fun game. Congratulations on your entry!
@lex Yes thanks a lot for the reference, it will clearly be a good inspiration for a possible post-jam release :)
It looks super polished and is super cool because of it! Nice work!
To start with the game had a great song to help create a fun atmosphere and the visuals while basic worked in this context. The gameplay itself was really basic and could have used some more polish or features to make it more interesting. Overall not a bad submissions to the compo.
Good game with simple gameplay, I think with a high score the level generator starts to create pretty dense block rows
The song was fun, but overall it was all too loud. It would have been nice to have volume control or a mute button. Game is cleanly executed, but I didn't realize I should be picking up the green blocks until... well, it took me awhile lol. A bit of instruction would help.
@harrison-dunn Thanks for the feedback ! Yep I had to chose between making the music or the setting menu during the last hour of the jam so purely time issue here :/ And gotcha for the green block, had several feedback saying the same, and it's totally relevant tbh, at least I should clearly have specified it in the description (will do so now).
_loved_ the dynamic music, loved the transition between the main menu and the game, love the premise. My mom also used to say that I could dig a hole to China. This is an impressive game, especially for the compo.
what a fun little experience I totally enjoyed my time even if the game not very finished graphically it's a great one, well done!
there was a lot to like about this game. it was simple, followed the theme very well and made me want to play more. great job in the amount of time you had. thanks for making this game.
As others have already pointed out, the transition between music tracks is smooth as ice cream. Generally a very relaxing game that should be preferably be played in FULLSCREEN on the households LARGEST MONITOR AVAILABLE!!1
i really enjoyed this game. its weird, youre falling down into a massive pit but the knowledge that it leads to the other side of the planet makes it feel different. combined with the music and bright aesthetic, it creates an interesting experience. progressing deep into the hole becomes gradually more unplayable (or maybe i didnt have patience to get back when restarting :P )
if i had to make a suggestion it would be having things ease off after you pass through the center of the earth (within a lava covered glass tube) slowing until you get to the other end of the hole at which point the game repeats.
@radmccool hahaha yess, to be honnest I made the difficulty peaking high because the game does not have an end, so I didn't want you guys to get "stuck" on this for hours not knowing if it gonna end or not.
For the post jam version I'm working on, I plan to make the whole thing stay quite easy for the whole travel (don't want to have such a "difficult/challenging" experience finally) to focus on chilling with side content (like characters joining in and you can interact with them).
Thanks for the feedback anyway o/
@soarendev that sounds really nice, good luck!
