I wouldn't mind having a health bar, or to not hit obstacles that look like they're past me, but I really did get a kick out of the theme and idea of the game! I got a good chuckle

Congrats on the first entry! As t-c already pointed out, a progress/health bar would be nice. I'd prefer it to be a bit faster.
Very good graphic style and music. Opening and ending letters were well done in particular. Not going to go into flaws as I know how hard it is to make it all polished in time, especially for the first entry. But having at least two frames of that drill spinning would improve the atmosphere significantly. Consider publishing a web build, you'd get more folk willing to try out the game that way. Itch.io is a good place to upload.
Congrats! but a health bar or progress bar as @hexa3 said is needed. if you have the time it's good to add a menu too.
nice first entry! it would have been cool if the blocks followed the rhythm of the song a bit more (but i found myself following it anyway)
OK, I will say up front. I didn't like game that much. It was pretty monotonous. Maybe if you had one more track for obstacles, a bit better hitboxes and more diverse obstacle generation (only in final section I didn't have only 2 obstacles from top or 2 obstacle from bottom) it would be much funnier game. Music was OK, but it made my ears bleed with it's volume.
No one else has mentioned this, so maybe it just bugged on my system, but I started hitting obstacles while still obscured by the opening textbox. Also, the whole screen turned blue after a bit, like this:
Bleu.png
Bleu Cheese maybe?
Anyway, it's a good start - regardless of any issues it's always an accomplishment to finish a working game for a jam!
it molécule part body
Very nice! I could see this being a popular app. Maybe make the title text skippable so it doesn't play every time you restart the game?
Colliders could be smaller (not to hit the obstacles you passed through). Music becomes very repetitive and psychedelic, so you wish for some glitches and hypno spirals to appear. This cheese of yours was freaking cheesy (schizy), and the end seemed like no end at all. But weirdly I liked it. Keep up, guys!
Great music! On higher resolutions the text is blurry and font is hard to read, but that's a minor thing. The intro is pretty long, especially if you die, but that isn't too big of a problem because I think the game actually gets easier the farther you progress, and it seems like there's no end, and you travel into the blue void forever.
That said, I think the movement of your "ship" is very smooth and responsive. Sadly, there wasn't too much in the way of interacting with the game other than moving out of the way of the slow moving "cheese holes?". Again, loved the music, good work!
A few elements could of been added to help let you know your health but besides that very playable. Love these types of games.
the lack of a health bar made it difficult to judge what was happening. originally i thought the goal was to drill my way through the bubbles, since i played as a drill and all. I also think it could have been more fun if you could control the drill in real time instead of being locked to the side of the screen.
I noticed some white spots in the corner of some sprite(like the drill). Maybe you forgot to clean them up?
I think this game really needs some additional visual polish. It needs a health bar, the drill should not extend as far to the left as it does (I got hit by multiple off-screen obstacles) and there should be indicators where the obstacles appear at the end of an area, since you can just get hit when they spawn in. I think this game is a good example of how visuals can actually impact the gameplay. I did enjoy the music though. It felt surprisingly polished. I also like that the last area mixes up the patterns of obstacles.
thank you all for your comments and attentions
