Imagine how rewarding it would be for me to rate this game very well! Found it pretty funny had some good humor, if the game had some small animations for travel and a few more destinations than the 3 planets (maybe im just a bad captain) i could play this game for a long time. I love the theme and concept, I wanted to make a space game too but didn't get hooked on the right idea for how to do so, this seems like the right concept!

Thanks for your comment @noobhereo. You are right animations would certainly improve the immersion of the players, I have to work on this. Only 3 planet type because lack of time only 48H is really short for a family guy. I tried to balance with some procedural generation random stars position, random rotation on 2 planetes type, random terrain generation for Mars like planet. Take a look on my others game at https://r2d48.itch.io/ Thanks for playing

A good experience. Polished gameplay and pretty graphics. The music is well chosen.
I really like the graphics. They remind me of the old Flight simulator, and the UI is very similar to DokiDoki Lit. Club. I like the humor. There are only 3 planets, but I get it.. 48h isn't alot, personally I didn't manage to add all I wanted to my game, but it is what it is hehe. I didn't really understand what you do first, but I'm pretty sure I get it now more or less. Good job
It was interesting experience, it would be better to add some more sprites, and some mechanics to the game. Not bad for a jam game!

I enjoyed learning the optimum actions and leveling up. Nice base game, ready for some new events and areas would be great. Music was really good setting the atmosphere. I sucked at mining. Thank you, good job
Nice concept and gameplay mechanism! It's fun to play, it would be better if the status of planets are not completely random but have some variation over time and progress (if there is already then I'm sorry I haven't discovered). It's already quite well done with the time limit!

Why do I have to hunt anime girls! XD Overall nice experience, but more interaction with locals and activity on planets would be nice)

@runuchok You don't what kind of creature you'll found in deep space. Lack of time, it's a shame I wanted more interaction on planets too. I have to improve that on futures release

@yulotomorrow SPOILER-ALERT: planet status generation is random and evolve at next travel the difficulty levelup you can look at lines 242-245 of source code https://github.com/gregoweb/Dokiss-Space-Explorers/blob/main/game/script.rpy So for best results with interactions you have to scan the planet first and then choose the interaction where you have the better skills (in captain's logs). You are free to choose to play peacefully or as a psychopath
Very complex game for compo. Well done!
I think the game has a great replayability. I played a couple of times. Thank you for the game!
This was a very cool game with a lot of variety. It is super impressive but some of the sound effects were a little weird.
Nice graphics and audio, really enjoyed the little greetings. Could have used a little more variety and it wasn't totally clear the relationship between the stats from scanning and interaction (I didn't really think about it that hard but it wasn't the most clear). Cool little FTL style game tho! Great job!
This was an interesting game. I like the visuals and think all the different people look cool, although I think more details in the backgrounds could have helped. The main song that plays while in space was good, but the other song was very different and felt a little off compared to the rest of the game. The gameplay itself was very simple and I think relied a bit to much on RNG but it was still enjoyable. Overall this was a polished game and a great entry.

The funny and quirky and characters, the pixel art and the music / sound gave the game a tongue-in-cheek feel that was very refreshing. I laughed out loud multiple times. I'm impressed that you managed to implement a complex menu and options screen with such complete options in just 48 hours, well done!
The outcome of the interactions sometimes seemed a bit random, so I often felt that my decisions had no significant impact on the gameplay. But that didn't make the game less fun to be honest, hope you keep working on it, congratulations!

@pijamar I'm happy my game made you laughed. Impact on decisions depend on planet status and your skills you can look the formula if you wish at line 242-245 of source code https://github.com/gregoweb/Dokiss-Space-Explorers/blob/main/game/script.rpy I have no merit for The complex menu and options screen because it's relative to the engine Ren'py https://www.renpy.org/ @v0idpointer it's the same engine as Doki Doki lit. club.
This one was pretty cool! It had lots of interesting parts to it. I would say it got to be a bit samey after the first dozen or so planets, and I was never able to succeed in mining once. That being said it was a cute and funny game!
If your interested, here's where I played it on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1018587431 we started it around 00:11:30ish.

@secretjuice Thank you so much for your video. You failed at mining because you have to mine in the first planets to level up your mining level. The difficulty increase at every jump. The game isn't very balanced at this time. Well done for the playing and recording I think I never done so much jump during my tests.

I liked your game, the graphics, the background music and that every alien species has its own sound effects! I'm impressed that you did all that in 48 hours!
