I quite enjoyed this! I have always enjoyed upgrade-type games and this one was quite good. I was somewhat surprised when the amount of money you could get from certain upgrades seemed to spike, though. Nice job!
@spydercrawler Yeah, the balancing of that was something that took me a while to figure out. Ultimately I just decided that the game should be fast-paced and exponential, lol.
I like your concept, it was very satisfying to play a game where you get upgrades that wasn't extremely long. The graphics and audio fit well too. Maybe add some indication of prices of each of the upgrades.
@choppers Thanks for the feedback! A tooltip that described each upgrade and how much it would cost was planned, but time prevented me from adding it.
I liked it! The game goes from punishingly hard to trivially easy very fast, but I think it's a good arc for a jam game. The music is simple but it's a bop.
Its a cool little concept. I like the simplicity of it. I note that as you go faster the collision detection starts to fail and fairly quickly I was overflowing the money gained variable.
I like the concept of upgrade being the key mechanic to survival. Makes it a bit of a puzzle while also being an action game. Kudos on simple but effective graphics. Good job.
Nice job! In rust too so its super smooth. I actually really like the idea of rapid failure at first but then you start to progress exponentially.
Super confused on what the upgrades did except make it easier :D some description might be nice and a price to know what to shoot for. After a few upgrades I just had it on autoplay. That being said, cool concept. I really liked the music.
:heavy_check_mark: The concept is great, I think there's a lot of potential here. I'm frankly amazed by how smooth the game goes even at the **ultra rapid speeds** you reach.
The music :musical_score: is fine, a really **upbeat track**. Definitely inline with the tone/fast-paced design of the game.
Reminds me a bit of **Barrier X**, with the concept of having to dodge obstacles at mach-speed.
:x: I was also very **confused** at the beginning, like @cavedens I wasn't sure exactly which upgrade did what, or how much each upgrade costed. Maybe if they were introduced or presented like a path to follow or a recommended order it'd be much more intuitive.
Maybe it's because of the "upgrade path" that I chose, but the game goes in a few turns from falling down avoiding obstacles to simply waltzing through everything full on upgrades like a rugby player on meth  .
its a fun concept and was fun, but at the start i was really confused, a tutorial at the beginning would be fine, good job!
This was a blast to play! Although once fast enough you never have to move because the objects are moving past you so fast the colliders never detect you.
that's hardcore. I liked it how you should upgrade your ship to make progression, and you really need it. Sound is good and art is clean
its like an action game became an idle game without me even noticing. amazing
