Interesting wave spawn. I like that there are shorter waves to learn the mechanics at first then they ramp up in size so you can build a strategy. The hitbox seems a little too forgiving, a bunch of times I thought that was it but the hearts just floated on by.
I might be seeing those chomping hearts in my sleep now.
Didn't seem like there was any real goal to the game
Wish there was some sounds and full screen on the webGL build
Nice game! It reminded me visually of the dodging minigames in undertale (never played the game, so I can't tell with the gameplay) The skill required to dodge between hearts was just enough to be interesting without being unfair. Nice work on that! I also like how the difficulty ramps up over time with new types of enemies. Overall, nice work!
Highscore of 116 :) Cool title art! I think next steps for this would be to thinking of some way to reward the player for progressing farther into the game, besides just the score.
Nice jam, the art was cute. Sounds definitely missing.
Nice little game  , is there a goal?
had a hard time reading the title screen due to pixelation. the game was reasonable enough, though could have done with a little more purpose for the player to work towards
A cute game! I loved the art for the title screen, and the overall style was well put together! It would've been nice to have an end screen that you could see your score on - I think I got around 70, but at the end I was working on dodging too much to check in with my score.
I agree with @zerocomms that I liked the 'wave' format of the attacking hearts - I found that the player-guided hearts were easier than the lines of hearts going horizontally and vertically, so I was glad to see that in an increase of difficulty it returned back to that state with a higher frequency. Ultimately the fun base for a bullet-hell, though I would've loved to see more narrative based on the premise of not falling into a crush throughout play!
Nice work! ☆☆☆☆☆
Broken hearts are everywhereeee. I like the targeting concept where it is subtly coming after you more and more the further you progress.
Possibly having a screen to tell you how long you lasted before being crushed by a broken heart. Not really sure how the concept of deeper and deeper is portrayed here.
As other have pointed out there is no real goal here, but other than that, the gameplay doesn't really show the idea, it's just a bullet hell dodging game, I think it needs to somehow convey the idea behind the game. At some point in the game the whole screen get's filled with enemies, I am not sure if it's just me but it seemed impossible to dodge at that point. Other than that the game was pretty fun.
