Works well with the theme. Music was good but a little too loud. The idea of having offensive and defensive pick ups was good and added interesting tactical value. Overall pretty good

Pretty nice game overall, but to me it feels like you turned flappy bird 90 degrees and removed gravity, and in it's place added guns, so it wasn't inventive. And the controls were a little stiff for my liking, espcially considering you are falling ever downwards, I feel like the controls would be a little different to what they are
@wall-jump-games Thanks. That was my exact worry when i got to the final stages of this project. I cut back the scope a bit and this was left. Well, something to note for next time :/
Vertical flappy bird! The constant acceleration made it just a lil' bit more fun
Well done! Pretty simple and straightforward, made it easy to learn. I like the multiplier and fall speed going up the longer you freefall. The powerups were a nice touch, it would be cool to see more of those as you get deeper
Looks like you and I (and I'm sure many other entries) had the same basic idea when it comes to theme. I too created a falling simulator. However, I'd like to call yours a "Tactical Faller" since you had the brilliant idea to add those power-ups at the beginning. That's some real genius-level thinking, right there! Though, ironically, I got my highest score (463) when I neglected to pickup a power up. Perhaps because I didn't have one, I was paying closer attention to my surroundings. Good job!
An age-old concept with an interesting twist. Nicely done!
Fun ! I think Downwell uses a similar concept, but I'm sure it's just a coincidence. Music a bit loud, but once I figured out the concept it's a fun arcade experience! My high score is 1810, just with the shotgun. With some cleaning up on the hitboxes, this has potential for a fun little mobile or browser game.
@secretcrab thanks, I don't know what downwell is, so probably a coincidence there. This is probably more or less the canonical take on the game. I already thought a bit about how to make this work well as a mobile game. Perhaps I could make the horizontal control work by gyro and the shooting by tapping. I think I made the shotgun a bit op
Fun 'anti platformer.' The music goes well and the mechanics are simple to learn yet hard to master. Might be a neat effect if the music tempo were to increase with the player velocity? A few different mechanics would be cool to see too, maybe usage of the walls somehow. Good concept for a mobile game.
Interesting, I liked the choice between attack and defense, was kind of hoping to get more choices later on :p
A fun take on the theme that reminds me of my own entry but in 2D. The gun seemed somewhat inconsistent as I would still take damage even after shooting a platform so I tended to opt for the shield. Overall though, it's a fun little game and I was able to get a high score of 2467. Well done :)

interesting game! when i used the gun i still sometimes ran into walls i shot because the smoke didn't go away soon enough. the shield effect felt like it lasted a little to short. but maybe i'm just bad at the game. :'D nevertheless i had a fun experience. the fantastic music kept me going!!
Nice entry. Catchy beat and I like how the game speeds up. :)
A super simple and fun little game. Well done.
