The direction of the dash and attack don't match with the mouse position, and that's making the game a lot harder. Like the art and story.

Hey just a couple of things. Thought the art was great. I think when you hit spikes it should bring you back to where you fell from or maybe boost you up so you don't take continuous damage.
Cute game! I really liked the intro story of losing our dog down a well, gives us a nice short and good reason to go down there! Movement felt pretty solid, the graphics were nice and readable. I love the main characters design, their head reminds me of the aseprite logo haha :D.
The end boss was really a nice surprise, I love that you had it have multiple attacks. I thought when I got below it I could cheese it/avoid the laser super easy but then it drilled down! And then it let out that whirlwind attack made it really intense. Great stuff, good job finishing your first jam!
The art is really nice, the dash feels really nice to use as well. Would've liked to see my dog after completing

Yeah, I just defeated the boss! Nice pixel arts and the character movement is quite smooth too! Maybe it will be easier if adding some checkpoints.

The opening cutscene was great. Is there controller support? (I forgot to test this myself before closing the game). If yes, that'd be great for a game like this. I found the keyboard-mouse controls hard to get used to.

Great game! It's feels very complete and polished. My only complaint would be that the boss didn't seem to have feedback when it was damaged, I was actually surprised when I suddenly won because I didn't know if I'd even hurt it yet. Overall well done!
This is really nice! Feels very polished, think its got a lot of potential. I found the dashing a little hard to get to grips with using mouse although i didnt give controller a try
@armytag that was unfortunately due to a lack of time lmao. The boss is also very buggy since it was implemented in a panic in the last couple hours.
Got a time of 66 seconds, pretty game. More feedback when attacking enemies would be appreciated, like a sound effect. Didn't have much of a reason to attack the slimes as they didn't drop anything nor were they in the way. The boss's hitbox is much larger than its sprite which led to some annoying deaths. I ended up standing on the platform above them and attacking when it tried to fly up.
