I'm not sure if it's just an issue on my side, but I did have a lot of input lag when playing this game (if I press an input, it takes about a second for it to register). Good job with the lighting! I like the effect it has on the mood.

The input is not working correctly. The game concept is excellent. I wish I had made the level easier.

@wintergatn @gamefive Hello, thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry you had problems with the inputs. I tested with the chrome browser and everything seems to work fine. If you want there is a Windows version that may work better.
I love the camera effects when you are digging, very cool game :v:
Fun little game with nice screenshake and sound effects, but my drill did get stuck sometimes!

Wow! Very fun and great mood. My only gripe was that it wasn't very clear at first what blocks you could/couldn't mine.
I like the particles and screen shake. placing blocks feels a bit uncomfortable.
Very short but nice game! The feeling of drilling is great!

I like the art and sound style of the game. To place a block is a bit weird because it is not in the grid, in Unity you can use a 2D Tilemap this can make your live easier. Maybe something to check out in the future. But the Idea and the visuals are just grade. I like it!

This game is just really satisfying to play. The visuals look incredible, the music is nice, the gameplay is interesting with a lot mechanics and it was just fun. It would be better if you could place the blocks on a grid instead of just anywhere, since that can cause you to get stuck. Also, since this game has only one song, it should just continue playing after finishing a level. But these are minor complaints. Overall a really good game!

That is one pleasant game concept, I felt that the controls were a bit unresponsive sometimes but overall it's a really nice job, with a pretty good sound design. Also the drilling effect is indeed excellent, and I really like the player's sprite!
Concept is really neat too bad it's so short! I think the sound effects lacked a bit of punchiness. Controls are good and the mechanics are well communicated. Good job!

I like the idea, with more time and work it could be very interesting
This is pretty neat. The addition of placing blocks helps this to stand out a lot. I had a lot of trouble with the character's collision though. I got stuck on walls frequently. Part of it might have been that placed blocks didn't snap to a grid making weird sized paths. Overall, pretty cool game. Good job! And thanks for opting out of humor if you didn't plan to put humor in the game. It feels bad to have to rate so many games for humor that clearly don't try for it.

It needs a little bit of polish on the collision management as others mention it, but overall it's a short fun game. The musics and graphics are good and the liberty to create our own path by building blocks is cool. I would love to play some more challenging levels ! Good job !

A cool entry, I especially liked the music. I have just an issue with the game I'd like to take 30 seconds to explain. I had a really hard time figuring out in the first level why I could dig some blocks and why I couldn't. Because I'm colour-blind (deuteranopia), I needed to squint and concentrate very hard to distinguish blocks of different colours. Because it's easier to explain with pictures: on the first image I don't see any difference in the block colours while playing, on the second image there's no issue whatsoever. firefox_YbZfG3wUDV.png firefox_A7BACjjUn5.png

@paulloz Thanks for the feedback and explanation! I didn't realize this could be a problem, I'll try to add a colorblind mode when it will be possible to update the game.

Lovely art

Great work on the art and music! Not only it is neat, but there's also a lot of cool effects. Though being colorblind, the first level confused me. I simply didn't see the difference between the diggable blocks and the regular ones (it's pretty subtle), and on the second level I was still wondering why I couldn't dig sometime.
But the mechanics is quite nice. Although I think it could go a little deeper (pun not intended). All levels can be finished without placing a block, I didn't even notice on my first playthrough that it was a limited resource! Now I guess there wasn't enough time to design more levels, but there's clearly enough material here to offer interesting puzzles! :) Anyway, it's still a pretty good job overall!

I like the character. First level is nice after that its too hard.
Great game ! The graphics and the music are really cool ! I liked the light shader, it really add something to the game. Also you have the visual and sound effects so the game feel is really good and the game really fun !
I don't think a grid is the best option for the game because I really enjoyed the fact that you can spawn block where you want, you can "build your own path" with the level design around you, I liked it. But maybe you could add a mechanic to remove the block by clicking on them or something like that. That will, at the same time, resolve the few collision issues that you can make yourself by playing and get stuck this way.
I had a great, good job !

Vraiment sympa il manque juste un indicateur pour savoir combien de blocs on en a de dispo à mon avis. Les puzzles étaient top
