Loved the UI idea that cards represent health
The game drips with atmosphere and style, but it isn't that much fun to play. Most of the bigger levels I found it easier to just run through everything than actually trying to kill the enemies. The irresponsive loading and the massive spread on the weapon were the two main factors for this feeling.
Thats a good shooter, i liked the scenarios, the spray and the O V E R W H E L M I N G presence of Linguine!!! My positive. Here my constructive criticism; i think the fonts you choose for UI is kinda small and doesnt help to aggregate the contrast factor and the reload time is kinda taking too long. In the other hand the game is amazing, the vibe, the setting, i loved the tribute to the mafia tropes!
Fun! It was simple and everything worked!
In detail: the audio was nice, the graphics were great, not innovative on theme or type of game, but it was extremely well-executed. Even had a boss fight!
Simple and fun! Also, I agree with the comment about the UI size and contrast, it's kinda fuzzy sometimes. But solid game, congrats.
I had a lot of fun playing, very well done and the graphics are great.
Good job.
Really cool! The music was an excellent choice, the blood animation, cards as health, and all the concept and mood of this game are amazing.
In the other hand, i think that the art itself could be improved - and not because is in pixel, but 'cause kinda gets confusing with all the carpets colors to see the enemies.
But in overall, it's just a detail compared with the whole game...i really enjoyed my time playing it. Great work!
Very well executed, good graphics. The reloading mechanic was confusing to me, and for a while it seemed like I simply couldn't reload. Other than that, well done.
This was really well done, but I think there was an issue with the reloading. I wound up waiting around after each engagement slamming the 'r' key for up to 30 seconds, which was frustrating and slowed down the gameplay a lot. Outside of that I really enjoyed the enemy AI and how much popping out to shoot them felt like diving out of cover. The art was good too, but the audio loop was a little short so it got a bit repetitive. Either way, this was a solid entry. Nice work!
Pros: The UI and overall graphics were done really well in terms of the idea of the game. The music was also nice to listen to as well, it wasn't obnoxious and overdone, so I never felt annoyed listening to it.
Cons: The reloading system was extremely funky and weird, which caused me to end up in situations that was unnecessary if the reloading system did work. The random spray pattern of the gun is understandable, but just a bit difficult to play with at times.
Overall, it was a fun game that needs some minor fixes to improve the gameplay a lot. Good job!
Nice to see a stealth game. I liked that you had to conserve ammo and make sure you had enough for the next guy waiting around the corner and the cards representing health was really smart too. My only problem was I wish hitting an enemy felt as juicy as killing them, would've been good to have some screenshake or particle effects to know you've actually hit them. Overall though, great work!
Fun to play, just a shame that the enemies were so bullet-spongy. It was easier and more fun often times to just run around enemies than to fight them, as it took so long to kill them, and then even longer to reload. Overall, though, a nice idea, and fairly polished execution.
Nice shooter. Remind me old beats em all on Amstrad. Had a bug on boss level but it was fun.
