Cute graphics

bastilo 2020-10-06 14:40

Nice Game!

midorimelody 2020-10-06 14:54

This looks amazing.

tubadude99 2020-10-06 15:00

I'm impressed by how solid the mechanics are and how many levels you managed to design. Great job! The hourglass graphic is a little confusing, but everything else is great.

gemberkoekje 2020-10-06 15:02

I got a bit stuck on the fourth level, as it seemed I only ever could have 1 'reflection' and I couldn't figure out how to make multiple ones. A bit of a tutorial or a hint system would've been nice. The character's graphics were nice, the level graphics maybe a bit boring but servicable. I liked the gameplay concept as well.

zyphen 2020-10-06 16:01

I love the main character and the ghost effect is done very well! I really liked that the game didn't give away the fact you could stand on multiple pads in one loop and left that for the player to figure out.

ukra174 2020-10-06 17:20

Cool game, nice graphics, but my brain had exploaded already at 4th level:/

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:42

@jagsyfox thank you!

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:42

@bastilo thank you!

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:43

@tubadude99 thank you, and I'm glad you thought it was a lot of levels since I was scared people might think there were too few, good to ear haha.

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:53

@gemberkoekje thank you very much for playing, you can not make more than 1 reflection, since I thought it wouldn't be very fun (or challenging) to change between multiple loops I limited it to one. Here's how to get through level 4 btw <3 Level4.png

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:55

@zyphen thank you very much <3, I like the idea of teaching gameplay without actually saying everything to the player, especially in puzzle games the moment of eureka I think is very important.

rickropes 2020-10-06 17:57

@ukra174 thank you very much and sorry to ear about your brain, but be warned I don't have insurance, I can't pay for brain replacement surgery so play with caution hahaha, if you're still interested I left how to beat level 4 here in a comment already ;)

klaus-peter 2020-10-06 18:16

I liked the game but I quit after a few levels because I often had to spam E to pick up items.

daine0 2020-10-06 18:25

Really interesting to play, but levels are too easy.

melon-spirit 2020-10-06 23:43

I loved this game's story and the 3d art was so cute! The ghost idea was also an interesting take on the loop theme and I think you really made it work. Also good job adding a tutorial in the beginning to show the controls, some of the games don't have that and just throw you out there. Only suggestion I would make is maybe make the beginning levels a little bit easier. I think it was like the second level but I screwed up pretty good! :)

nicksmaddog 2020-10-07 02:40

This was really amazing! I though the puzzles were really well put together. My one complaint is it wouldn't always detect when I would press 'E' to pick something up, or Z/Space to turn the hourglass. I often had to spam the buttons multiple times before it worked, which made some of the levels frustrating.

rickropes 2020-10-07 07:26

@melon-spirit thank you very much for playing!! <3

rickropes 2020-10-07 07:34

@nicksmaddog thank you very much!! <3 I realized the faulty trigger system near the end of the jam (because I originally thought it was my old keyboard acting up haha) , unfortunately I wasn't able to fix it in time, I'll try to add a updated version later, thank you :)

mincho 2020-10-07 09:08

Wow, lots of content for a game jam. I really liked the look of the game. I thought the puzzles were good, but I didn't really like the 'max 10 sec' mechanic, which made it so that I wasn't always sure if the solution I saw was correct or impossible to execute in the time given. That, combined with the way that every time you make a mistake you have to restart the level made it that some levels, especially the last, were pretty frustrating. But I still really liked the game and beat all puzzles, so thank you for the game!

rickropes 2020-10-07 09:17

@mincho wow, thank you very much for playing it all!! <3

the-missing-bracket 2020-10-07 09:28

cute good game, reminds me of a hat in time

bootak 2020-10-07 15:42

I advanced to level 6 or 7, two levels after box mechanics was introduced. And things became way too advance for me. Awesome puzzle, the best implementation of a theme I've seen so far! Well done!

rickropes 2020-10-07 18:51

@the-missing-bracket haha, thank you very much for playing <3

rickropes 2020-10-07 18:52

@bootak thank you very much <3

walaber 2020-10-08 03:29

rickropes 2020-10-08 13:11

@walaber thank you very much <3

zachary-granger 2020-10-09 02:33

YES!! This is my favourite game of the jam so far. Loved the art, music, and great puzzle progression. I just kept wanting to play - really well done. I'm really glad I got to play this :)

rickropes 2020-10-09 08:20

@zachary-granger wow thank you so much!! <3

ryano 2020-10-09 11:29

Great puzzle design. I had a great time playing this. Thanks for the game!

empty-set 2020-10-09 12:06

I love the design of the main character.

The main mechanic is pretty mind-bending since only one of your previous iterations is actually repeated. Though, I was kind of confused at times, since it seemed inconsistent whether my 'ghost' was able to pass through closed doors or not - sometimes it seemed like he could pass through them if he could on his own loop, but other times it seemed like I had to press the button for him in order for him to pass through.

A way to completely restart a level might have been nice, since I often found myself thinking I'd like a fresh start rather than trying to salvage my poor, poor attempt at solving the level, lol.

Overall this was a great experience, though I might not have enough IQ points for it, haha. Great work.

rickropes 2020-10-09 13:36

@ryano thank you very much!

rickropes 2020-10-09 13:44

@empty-set Thank you very much for playing <3. The player clone is not affected by absolutely anything in the game, be it doors, walls, floors, etc. He literally just repeats the previous movement of the player, unaffected by current events. I tried to convey that through gameplay but I guess sometimes a little text box might be needed haha. Also, on the pause menu there is a restart button so that your previous attempts never see the light of day ;)

muktada-creations 2020-10-09 17:28

Love the graphics, Love the gameplay, I want this game to actually get fully made

pedrocoden 2020-10-09 21:32

Great game, started off rough...didn't know to sit. Nice puzzle game and the difficulty was good how it slowly got harder. Awesome job!

rickropes 2020-10-16 09:27

@eskooh thank you very much for playing!

crazyrems 2020-10-18 19:54

Yes! That is a very cute looking game. The time loop mechanic is solid and the difficulty curve does fit well.

Very much clean work 👌 all the art and story makes it even better.

The scream at the end scared the sh*t out of me, I didn’t see it coming.

rickropes 2020-10-19 17:15

@crazyrems Thank you very much!!! I'm also glad the scream caught you off guard hahaha
