Made me want to eat some sushi!! Well done man! Such a clever implementation of the theme. Loved the sfx too
The chaotic bouncing around of the sushi made this very fun! If I were to change anything, I would make it so that you could only grab one sushi at a time. Other than that, great game!
Great concept for the theme, and I love the art style. I wouldn't mind a subtle way to see if you're overeating, I was mostly just guessing. Well done!
Graphics are awesome! The music you chose fits perfectly too, sounds like its pulled from a yakuza 0 side mission. I didn't realise I was only supposed to pick up a specific type of sushi at first so I thought it was bugged but then I figured it out.
Wonderful graphics and music! The bouncing sushi animation was also especially fun. It took me a few tries to understand what I needed to do, even after reading the directions. Nice entry!
@guardaro @brads-space @verso Thanks for the helpful feedback! I agree that the UI is not very clear in communicating what to eat/to do. Something to learn for the next Jam.
It's a good game :) The gameplay was fun, a bit addictive even, haha. - One thing that's *REALLY* missing is a **restart option**. I was trying really hard to get a perfect score, but after overeating I had to refresh the whole page, which wasn't that convenient. - Sometimes when sushis were shaking, it was difficult to distinguish between them, but I guess that's part of the fun. - Also, when you miss one sushi, you still grab the next one for a looong time.
Fun how the sushi goes crazy ! Reminds me of Overcooked a bit, all the crazyness.
I did found that the hitbox was a bit random though, I didnt get a good feeling of when the hitbox actually validate for the sushi to be eaten. Granted I am terrible at those sort of games, I think it would help to have the hitbox turn green or something to highlight the frame at which you can take the sushi !
Good work though !
@daimadoushi Thanks for the very constructive feedback! You are right, the hitbox can feel "off" or lagging behind. I will keep that in mind. At the moment the hitbox is active as soon as the hand touches the circuit (3 frames of the animation I think). I should have played tested that more ^^. Thank you again.
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
A fun game of chase after the rotating sushi. Eat as much as possible. I like the raging sushi.
At first I didn't read it properly and kept grabbing at all the sushi so I ate 34 pieces of wrong sushi haha. Once I figured it out I realized this game does have some depth to it and requires a bit of skill to grab the right sushi in the middle of a bunch of wrong sushi.
Great graphics and nice use of the theme!
I had a bit of trouble telling the two brown sushi :sushi: (one that looks like fish, the other that looks like two ... sausages?) apart when they jolt around so fast :( Never made it to anywhere perfect score  That aside, the art is good, and the game is funny! =)
Very nice job. Cool idea. The music and the graphisms are excellent. Thank you for your game
That was a fun idea. The art style all fit together really nice. Thanks for including a volume slider! I was pretty terrible at this game but thought it was a great entry. Awesome work!
Great graphics and sound, a fun idea, too!
Cool idea, and the art style is great ! The game is a bit too hard to be really fun, there is not enough feedback to understand why you fail when you do. Maybe it's because everything goes a bit too fast.
@jrevel Thanks for the constructive feedback. You are right, the UI and feedback are not very clearly communicated. I will keep your advice in mind for a post-jam patch.
