Can be a bit confusing at times, but the visual style is excellent. :ok_hand:

I got stuck with the mirror XD Really good interpretation of the theme. Also cant really believe, that you did all the graphics in this short time, well done I really liked it Best game I have played so far.
Incredible graphics. I love the visual effects. I got stuck on the mirror part too.
Nice narrative. The story was fun. The gameplay is very linear, but overall a neat game.
Good story, great concept, amazing graphics!! Excellent job
Great Graphics!! Nice game!
The graphics were phenominal. With such a big area, I had a hard time figuring out where possibly I was supposed to go though.
Fun game and impressive graphics, and nice double take on the theme
Wow cool low poly graphics! So I coudldn't finish but it is great anyway)
Nice story, little stressful haha. Coudn't finish the game. Each time I click F on the cowbow with the gun, the game stop working. But nice graphics !
very fun mini quest, great graphics!
Nice graphics, though couldn't finish the game. Was fun!
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
Game looks grat, but it is a bit confusing. It was still a lot of fun
Great idea! The graphics and level design is wonderful, though the narrative is a bit fast paced and leads to a lot of confusion. Glad there was a walkthrough though! The overall performance and mood would've benefited a lot from audio, shame you didn't get to implementing it. :)
Short, but neat idea and nicely executed.
The thing I missed the most was sound and music (those would help atmosphere a bit more). I could finish it on few attempts (was mostly trying randomly going around and see what can be used)!
Keep up the good work.
Great visual style. The pace of the intro cutscene was way too fast, which was a bit jarring. Some sort of initial hint as to where to start searching for a way to save granny would've been nice, but I guess since the first item is so close to the player this didn't matter too much! Was an enjoyable experience overall, you guys challenged yourselves a lot with the visual style, and the game looks great! Needs some sounds and music to wrap it up nicely! Be proud of what you've achieved!
Very nice art, you built a huge world with great variety in such a short time! I managed to save Granny! The intro movement was way to fast, and the game's pacing felt so rushed, I did not really have time to read the conversations.
Great entry! Clasic take on the timeloop mechanic.
Now some feedback:
After several attempts had to read the walkthrough:
· I stil don't understand why "that item" pops from "that place". I'd suggest to make it visible but inaccesible from the start.
· I don't get what the interaction with the mirror-man meant I got lost searching the alley tro try and understand. I suggest making his role in all this clearer. Is he our grampa? If so, why does he dissapear for a while?
· The ending feels kinda confusing as why wouldn't I had been able to push the executioner myself? I mean, yeah, grampa was supposed to but still, why not have him do something we can't and we know we can't ? Like talking to the guy about a past owned favour or something? I mean I tried to push the executioner at the end of every new discovered interaction, and It was so infuriating when grampa could do it just because code.
Also: I wish you added an interaction with the Saloon ladies, model's so cool! :dancer_tone2: :cowboy:
In general this was an amazing entry, let me know if you make an improved version! Great job!!
When you get me stuck in a time loop, just make it looping, please. The most annoying thing I can imagine is getting back to main menu and having to click two buttons to get back to game :) The gameplay is designed the way that no one ever could complete the game first time, so you should've designed the fail state apropriately. This way it makes no sense and doesn't even go with the "stuck in a time loop" thing.
But apart from that, the amount of work is amazing, character controls felt really good, the circle for looking through buildings you're behind is a nice touch, and even the story is pretty functional. Some sfx would help a lot, but hey, time's low, right. And the overall artstyle, environment and models...wow!
If you're planning on further improvement (which you should, everybody would love an interesting twist to Sexy Brutale), I think that most important would be to have things loop seamlessly, so that the player knows when time loops back, but he can investigate at his own pace, se how things unwind and what changes with his actions.
Great piece of work overall!
Pretty sweet game, would love to see what the version with audio would look like, but the graphics are great!
Best visual style! I really liked it!
It play's real smoothly for the amount of time alloted! It's also a fun take on the theme, and a good throwback to adventure games of the 90s!
