Wow cool game! I like the graphics a lot. But it kinda hurts your eyes a bit.
I absolutely loved this game! I really enjoyed this. I think what really stands out here is the graphics. I loved that low fps (reminds me of diablo 1) idle animation. As for the game, you guys did what I think 99% of programmers think of doing, but cant pull off. Having a version of yourself (a ghost) run around and then solve puzzles in that way is no small feat at all. Fantastic job! If I had to criticize something, I have to say that the game could benefit from more instruction at the beginning, or a tutorial, because for the first few minutes I was completely comfused about whats going on. I love the while(false) at the end!!
Impressive! Definitely the best visuals I've seen so far in the jam. Unfortunately the game got a bit to repetitive after the first three levels, it ended up being a lot of just waiting for the cycle to end.
First, let me just get this off of my chest, the artistic presentation of this game is immaculate. Everything from the start and end scenes to the glitch effects to the alien level design is crazy impressive and far beyond anything that I would expect from a jam game. This game has six people working on in, three of them artists, and it shows.
The core mechanic (looping clones of oneself) is interesting and well fitting with the theme. It is also impressively well implemented and polished, it's really a cut above the average jam.
However, I cant help feeling that this mechanic could be better used with more interesting puzzle design. There is so much possibility with this mechanic that isn't tapped into. I feel like the the bulk of development time went into the visual presentation rather than the level design. This is something I can empathize with completely as I have an unhealthy tendency to compulsively polish. ;)
overall, this was a very impressive Jam, good job
Very impressive game. The visuals are amazing and the concept is great. Really atmospheric sound design, too. So much polish and cohesion from the menu to the game to the credits. Just great stuff!
I would have love a bit more variation in the puzzles, but... it's a jam game so you can't ask for too much!
Just FYI, though, I think there's a bug where the door opening sound is multiplied by the number of ghosts/iterations in the room, maybe.
Overall, fantastic work! Love it!
Thanks for the feedback!
Ill just leave a **FYI** here, there is a Mac and Linux version on the Itch page, i dont know if im allowed to edit the game page :)
Nice visuals, one of a piles goes into ground with delay, feels kinda annoying when character start to shaking, you feel that you've done everything right, but pile blocks your way to exit(not a blocker, i've made it, but it was close)
Sick game! Loved the art style and mechanic. I thought you explored the mechanic very well. I was anticipating the final level being boring since it seemed like it was going to be tedious, but I ended up enjoying it the most. It felt like a race against time, trying to get all my clones in place before time ran out. That being said, it would have been nice to have a "kill" button to let me instantly skip to the next clone so I didn't have to wait on the button for a few seconds.
I also agree with Julius's comment above, this mechanic deserves more exploration! I'm certain there are more ways to interact with the level besides standing on buttons, and I'd love to see what you guys come up with if you continue development. Great job overall.
nice puzzle and fun of course!
All right, hats off to you guys !
The graphisms were really aweosme ! and the glitchy aniamtion if the game and the credits were really nicely done ! The puzzles were starting to get a bit tedious and repetitve at the end, but it still does a really nice job at the "stuck in a loop" mood !
Congrats !
Great foundation, guessing you couldn't add puzzle variations due to time constraints. Such as positioning boxes in the right place as the right time and pressing and then also releasing buttons at the right time.
@pierrens Yes, you are allowed to update the game page to include links for Mac and Linux. I would recommend to do so, because I would have left without playing the game if I did not see your comment.
Cool idea and very nice visuals. While there are quite a few games with the same premise of a time loop where you have previous copies of yourself (including our own game), it is always interesting to see other people's takes of the same basic idea. As others have pointed out, the puzzles get repetitive quite fast.
@smbe19 Thanks mate! I have updated the game page to reflect that we also have a OSX and Linux version.
First of all, I'm really diggind the intro screen. It's a small thing but the old computer screen with text interface and all, I love it!
The game in itself is amazing looking, the mood is incredible, there's a big Tron vibe. The effects are nice looking and the sound fits perfectly the mood. The gameplay is nothing new but it fits well the theme and the general vibe of the game. Overall, great job!
Really nice game! Well implemented and I loved the aesthetic of it! Would like to see more.
Here's my playthrough of it: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/766604558
What an entry! Wery well polished game in the theme. Very nice music and effects, solid basement of gameplay. The beginning and the ending effects surround well the ambience. The mechanic is very easy one we understand it. I'm sure you can find many variation and evolution on this system. It's very funny to see the first ghost discovering the environment, bit lost in the beginning ^^ Perhaps a button to begin a new character would be interesting? If it's not already done? Whatever, congratulation to the team!
Am i the 20st ?
@gaming-night looks like it  What did you think of the game ?
nice graphics, nice game gameplay, overall its really fun just one thing - you should (in my opinion) fix the rotation of the player when hes on idle(he always rotates towards the camera )which looks kinda strange sometimes
Hey @black0wl Thanks for the feedback! There is a very good reason for this, he is a 2d Sprite and we only made one idle animation which is him facing front :) So there is nothing in the code that forces him to face towards the camera its simply the sprite animation.
my opinion is you have done a very well polished game. all screens effect, lights, music, environments are great. You even took time to implement credits in a very cool way;
I juts wished a level design a bit harder. but i know, this is ludum rules, only 72 hours :)
Very nice entry !!
