Works kind of like that old game of Simon, but with items instead of colors. Pretty cool!

mosegames 2020-10-05 23:50

It didnt seem like there was enoght actions to complete some of the levels. I would pick up some coins and hit the door, but anything else would restart the level.

tryston 2020-10-05 23:52

The game kept telling me to use perform my 3 actions, then do a fourth but would always reset me before I could add a fourth, so I quit pretty early

zrepa 2020-10-05 23:56

haha, fun game. The thing is, I really forgot what I did previously lol. Game 1:0 Me Music keep that fun level high.

jonrei 2020-10-05 23:56

Pretty fun way to do memory games. I also learned that I have horrible short term memory :D

sli 2020-10-06 00:09

@mosegames, @tryston Thanks for the feedback. I guess I should have explained it better. The Idea is not to just go to the door(it doesn't even work). Rather repeat all you previous steps and then add one. (I.E lvl1 coin, door, coin, lvl2 coin, door, coin, potion, and so on.)

mosegames 2020-10-06 00:14

@sli Okay, thanks. I played around with it more and figured it out. cheers

tryston 2020-10-06 01:26

@sli I loaded it up again and it seemed to work, thank you

joellikespigs 2020-10-06 21:45

It's a nice take on the whol Simon Says thing, and admittedly I totally forgot the first time playing - nice work

drowshad 2020-10-06 21:46

It was a simple and entertaining game! It took some trial and error to figure out what I had to do, but that was actually a nice part of the game! :)

sertu 2020-10-07 00:07

In the beginning i couldnt understand what i was suppose to do but once i started getting the groove it became pretty fun and addictive which kept me playing it was pretty fun just needs more explanation

eugenik 2020-10-07 02:16

This game is amazing. You deserve to win LD47

potti 2020-10-07 09:28

Interesting concept, forcing the same order over and over again. Maybe could have done without the countdown and with a stopwatch, just seeing how fast you can go.

At first I thought every keypress and duration was important, but it became very clear that interaction with the game are meant by actions.

etrealjunior 2020-10-07 10:40

I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection

Quite fun, I managed to complete it with 3:03 to spare. I pretty bad at memory games. the hit boxes seemed a little off on the spikes. The randomised nature of the items was good encouraged me to look around.

cookie-chr 2020-10-08 10:36

Really fun! I didn't complete it - lost somewhere after the enemies appeared - but I had great fun

toccio94 2020-10-08 12:24

Cute game! The mix of platforming and memory is original and fun to play. The rules are clear, but you should clear the green label on the top when the levels is completed. If you took a coin last it keep saying "You took a coin" for example and it may confuse someone who has not understood the rules yet

With a bit more of polish, especially visually, could have been even better

monninen 2020-10-09 13:51

Really fun and innovate game. I enjoyed it a lot!

balance686 2020-10-10 20:32

This was a good use of the theme! Memory/platformer is a unique matchup that works well. The vector graphics were simple but clean and I also enjoyed the fact that the collected items actually impact the gameplay. My memory is pretty bad so I made it to 10 actions :P Nice job!

inferture 2020-10-12 15:19

It was fun, I loved how some items actually worked (like the potion actually gave you some random effects) which added to the gameplay. If you intend to make a post-jam version, I think something that would be cool would be if every item had some sort of effect for example the switch would tone down the lights, you could buy something with the coins (which would also be an action)...

Good job on this entry !

oune 2020-10-14 20:25

Cool idea ! I like your take on the theme.

loligxp 2020-10-14 20:28

nice game, simple but easy to understand, and an interesting idea ^^

betovf 2020-10-15 09:09

Quite fun, nice graphics and animations!

guimoliveira 2020-10-16 15:29

Fun game. I really enjoyed it. Good job! :)

joaog 2020-10-17 00:47

I like how the camera moves away and reveals the entire map when the player is stopped for a while. The soundtrack is very good, the art is simple and the design is clean, it’s a cool game and I liked the idea. Good job!

rubixnoob13 2020-10-17 16:04

This was actually a lot of fun to play! I made it all the way to the last level before I managed to forget what I had done, and then I messed up like 8 times in a row lol.

Music was pretty catchy, and I like how you added some variety with the enemies not appearing until later. Great job!

ditam 2020-10-19 09:35

Cool game! The door is an annoying red herring, I thought I had to figure out how to open it, but it looks like it's just an other moving item like anything else :) A unique concept that fits the theme well.

sli 2020-10-19 10:54

@ditam Thanks for the feedback. Yes the door turned out to be misleading for some of the players. I totally missed this while designing the levels. That's why I find LD Jam so useful. You learn many important game design stuff in practice in a short time and free of charge

exilegl 2020-10-20 17:52

Very cool interpretation of the theme, and cute art :) At one point I ended up trying to use the "getting hurt" action 3x in a row because im dumb :p oops

enes-ayyildiz 2020-10-21 08:23

I like the idea of game and the controls. Loop memory game ,cool.

chris-fagan 2020-10-22 12:07

Ah really cool! I particularly enjoyed the health system to stop the player just doing the hurt action over and over again! Awesome job!

roka-josh 2020-10-22 12:38

Cool memory game, I liked how you implemented the platforming as the controls felt really tight. For me the music got a bit repetitive by the final stages but that was only real complaint. Overall, great job!

midorimelody 2020-10-23 20:42

Awesome game. I love being able to test my memory. This game is awesome with its memory components and it's still super unique.

don-tnowe 2020-10-23 20:50

Really fun and unique game! I realized that the core is kinda similar to my game but you figured out how to do it in a much simpler, more fun and more easily expandable way. Great job!

mirka-chan 2020-10-25 07:58

Great. True, at the beginning I did not understand what to do. Understood only to the 3rd level

schwede 2020-10-25 16:14

Well done! The level reminds me a bit of [Mario Bros](https://www.nintendo.de/Spiele/NES/Mario-Bros--768392.html). Maybe you got your inspiration from there? What about your next step will go through the level from right to left?
