Yay, another rails game! Nice idea and implementation! It took a while to figure out why "Invalid railway" warning happens. Turns out, your railway should always be as one giant loop, no switches, no crossings. Also, if rail building were costing money, and different resources delivery were giving you different amounts of gold, it would add more fun to the gameplay. All in all, pretty fun cute little game, i liked it!

Overall very cool game! Interesting take on theme, looks and sounds nice. But, similarly to comment above, not having any constraints or goal holds it back imo.

I really enjoyed this little time killer! Maybe I'm just not bright, but it took me too long to figure out how big the map was! I think more indication that you can scroll around a huge world might be good! Other than that, really well done.

It is a little fun game with an interesting idea and gameplay. Graphics look cute and the music and sound effects are spot on! However, it took me a lot of time to figure out what is going on and how to get away with "Invalid railway" warning. Also, the rails that behind of the "resource buildings" is impossible to see, I got stuck a lot of times because of this visual problem. Maybe that'd be easily solved by adding a some kind of minimap (because it turns out the game world is bigger than I expected). In addition to that, adding a zoom in-out functionalty might improve the general gameplay and make the map control (moving around) fluid. Overall, this might be a great idle/time-killer/management game with lots of stuff to do, great potential! Keep up your good work mate!

This was really well done! It took me a while to figure out how to extend the track without making it "invalid", but once I did I had some fun with the game.

Really good game, but it's a little too repetitive.

I really enjoy the graphics and music, i think its an excellent idea for a game. However im not too sure of the goal and the instructions seem a little vague. Also it doesnt seem to want to run in fullscreen :(

enjoyed it! Had some minor issues but nothing TO bad haha, I almost managed to break the game, but my computer crashed by itself while i was setting up a memory crash within the game haha...

The graphics are simplistic and pleasing, combined with a neat little soundtrack it all ads up to a neat and tidy atmosphere. With the simple gameplay i could play this or a while haha, and i did!

I made a track that spanned the entire map almost straight away, so all i did really was buy new carts for about an hour i think, but i realized that all the producers keep produsing while the loop is incomplete. so i tried getting as many ticks with the shortest intervalls because when you pickup or drop-off a resource, at least my PC started getting hiccups later in the game.(The infamous potato)

But even with all the hiccups and frame skips i waas getting it still ran as it should haha, i got some disconnected carts with a space in-between, but hey, it ran!

It's cute but I had a few issues with track being invalid to the point where I got stuck even though I couldn't see anything wrong with the track. Other than that it looks nice, feels responsive and the music is good albeit a bit repetitive.

Really cool little game, I love how you interpreted the theme in a rail loop you have to build to deliver resources and stuff, really clever and addictive! Too bad there aren't levels with an objective, but it's still fun to play around with ^^

I love the mood of the game with the little music and graphics, works super well, congrats!

Oh and I broke the game by adding too many wagons Screenshot_1.png

Nice game! The gameplay is simple but very addictive

Unfortunately, i encountered a bug. I couldn't delete this one little piece of rail in the top left corner, but it was making my path invalid

I loved the art style! Very simple but it all combines well! Nice entry

sprvrn 2020-10-27 11:33

@thejohnyfeed aha, it's actually a known bug. That rail is the first in the list and the path completely breaks when removed, so i made it unremovable. since it's in the top left corner i hoped nobody would notice, guess i was wrong!

@kaldrin not too laggy? :p at first i was thinking of limiting the wagons, but it actually fun to have a very long train. But maybe I should have reduced the particles

thejohnyfeed 2020-10-27 11:47

And after, like, more than 140 wagons the game just died, lol xd

It was still very fun! Great game!

It's really nice to have a relaxing game once in a while! I spent so much time playing your game! Really simple mechanic but well executed.

The visuals are nice (too bad the rails are only vertical, it would have been a lot better) and the music fits really well.

Nice entry !

digital-bacon 2020-10-27 12:27

Nifty little game. Took a bit to work out how to play it, plus there was one piece of track I couldn't remove. Love the graphics and the insanely catchy music. Great work!

kaldrin 2020-10-28 20:47

@sprvrn It was running very well, but it became impossible to change the rails x')
