That was a really cool game. needs some balancing because it was really hard . Thanks for sharing the game's link.

Fun game, but really unbalanced. Also It was quite not clear when my fire dies (I guess it was always my character who died) or what remaining parts of enemies does if I collect them.
Really fun game! Turned out to be really hard for me and I couldn't last more than 20 seconds in it. As said by @halflemonstudios I didn't know when my fire died, it was always me who died. Otherwise the audio, the graphics were outstanding!
It is pretty basic, but what it has in it works well! There are no bugs, crashes or strange behaviors. And it is quite fun for a while. Although insanely hard!
I don't know if there is some end to it or you can just go endlessly. But if you can go endlessly, then some high score when you die would be great. Like: "you have defeated this and this many enemies and managed to survive in the woods for whooping 30 seconds" - you know, like in real life
Graphics are also simple and if I may present a criticism here - background it too busy. Too much texture in it, obscures the important things unnecessarily. Sometimes less is more
Overall, you should be proud of finishing the project in such limited time! And it works! So, I say, well done.
@aryanjumani and @halflemonstudios thank you for playing!
Yeah...most of the times the Player dies Faster than the fire. The fire has also health, which it slowly loses after time. It should get smaller after a while.
Thanks for your feedback! The Game is so hard bc I hadn't alot of time for playtesting
@fabula-rasa thanks for your feedback! Yeah...it is going endless in the new build there is a score! And a little Isaac-esq end screen when you die :)
Yeah, I think the backrounds aren't that great, I'll still experiment how the Backround should look :)
(I am still working on this Game, after this Event finishes I am going to upload a new version on itch.io, so if you're interessted you can go an bookmark the itch.io page, bc there the new versions will be released)
and Thanks alot guys :)
I couldn't leave a feedback earlier due to some connection problems. Overall the game is quite polished, I found no bugs whatsoever, probably the thing that puts me off the most was how difficult it turned out to be xD But not an annoying one, I believe a little balancing will work out. One other thing is about the organization, from a design perspective, I suggest you make the fire stand out more from other entities in the scene, that way the player can notice with ease when it will run out. Good job, I will try again and beat the game if possible xDD
Nice game it is fun to play. :v:
Nice game, but I think, pixel art in that quick edition is not the best chose. But overall, still very funny
I think it would be great to have a timer that tracks your survival score and helps compare playthroughs! Didn't realize the fire could take damage too at first, so maybe a little progress bar (or having it shrink continuously) could be added there.
Quite frantic start of the game! Gotta ease people into it~ I gather the fire needs to be kept alive, but I had a hard time knowing what the state of the fire was. (and the monsters were tough enough already that I barely had time to think about a fire)
Some things that would be nice: - Having occasional powerups that give life - Slightly less fast enemies / bullets in the beginning (ramp them up) - Indicator of camp fire health
There doesn't seem to be an end state or score. Also the random spawning can make you get unfairly damaged. I did like how shooting through the fire caused increased damage though.
Hey, thanks for posting the game for my stream!
So I really like the fast pace and pretty smooth controls on this one. Dealing way more damage by shooting through the fire also gives a nice balance to things where the fire really is an integral part of the gameplay. Your graphics are simple but functional (kinda similar to my own I think..)
If you want to polish this up a bit further, I'd love to see more of a gradual increase in difficulty, and adjusted enemy spawning (no unfair spawns where things spawn right next to you and shoot you instantly). Oh and a highscore counter! =P
@valeth2124 Thanks for the Feedback! I will work on that :) The Game is endless :) @antarres Pixelart is the only thing...so yeah I think the Sprites should be 32x32 and not 16x16 so evrything could be a bit bigger with more detail :)
@blay09 Yes! I justn hadn't enough time to work in the score (bc I didn't understand how UI works in gm :'D)
@joror nice points, I think I am going to implement them into the game :)
@iak thanks for streaming my game :) Is there a way to watch the stream? I'd really love to see it :)
Yeah, shooting the fire was the most important thing for me. It should feel powerful and great. I am happy to hear that it works/feels good :)
Yeah, I am doing that right now. On Thursday there will probably be an updated Version on the itch.io page.
Thanks!
@tunahead the stream is still recorded on twitch for a few days, so you should find it on [my channel](https://www.twitch.tv/iaknihs)
On mobile atm so can't get the full link quick, so if any issues I'll check tmmr!
