Good idea!

@lucasjefrey very nice game I actually enjoyed it so my rating is Very Well Done Game, only the beep sounds might be a bit agressive but overall well done

Really original mechanic, the main issu I foud with it is that there's no penalty for launching rocks papers or scissors so I just kept spamming all three and eventually won. Two things come into mind, 1) Increase street if the customer wins the RPS fight. 2) Gain stress for clicking any RPS button. Overall it's a really cool idea, graphics are great!! loved the art!

I liked the little character backstories - that really caught me off guard. You could improve the game if matching the wrong symbol also gives you stress (currently, you only get stress if you fail to match a symbol at all, which means you can spam anything blindly). Nice work!

Very good idea, i liked the "combat system" and the use of the water. I see some space of improvements later

Pretty interesting idea, I managed to win!:) As others have mentioned, the fact that you can spam any button is an issue, but it could easily be fixed by making this add stress. I really liked how the game was framed as a conversation, I could imagine an updated version giving the player dialogue depending on how well they perform! Good work!

"Eu sou um deus, criatura ridicula!" Meu rei, achei bem foda!

Really liked the backstorys and it has an interesting artstyle. The gameplay is simple but rewarding and feels really good because of the sounds. If you dont try to spam buttons it is also really tense and has quite some difficulty. So if for example an attack that goes all the way through would give you stress it would be perfect.

Nice little game. I like the graphics and scenario. However, I'll say I had almost no patience to read all the back story. I think you should have added a bit more connection between the story and the gameplay. I did not feel much relation between the jokenpo and the dialog system. Also, the game was too easy because there was no penalty for randomly choosing moves.

Interesting idea, but I found it quite boring quite fast. There is very little to do, and there is no skill nor any thinking involved in playing it. You just press the button above the line where the item spawned, that's it.

Hey there - this is a good start on what seems to be a pretty interesting and unique concept. As other commenters have noted, the biggest weakness of gameplay is that you can spam each of the buttons with no consequence so it's not really a true rock-paper-scissors game. Once I figured out that I could abuse this system, there was no real challenge to the gameplay anymore. Penalizing the player in some way for an incorrect match would do a lot to put the player under some pressure and create a more complete gameplay loop.

I didn't totally feel the connection between gameplay and the story - although my character's mouth moving whenever I clicked a button was a solid inclusion, I felt that there needed to be a more direct connection from customer service to rock-paper-scissors.

I liked the style of the graphics. A couple simple soundtracks could've helped ease the sharp sound of the beeps.

I ended up spamming every attack to win. Need to stop people from doing that somehow.

john-snyder 2020-04-25 17:34

Very nice and simple game. I would've liked the game to be a bit more difficult and a bit more punishment if I pressed the wrong button. I really appreciate that you took the time to have two different languages for the game. Good job!

Saw your post about the 20 ratings and of course I jumped in to check your game! It is a great idea of the keep it alive concept and I am sure you can add more mechanics to it in order to prebent the game to be repetitive! Good luck and keep up the good work!

abiral 2020-04-25 17:38

I really enjoyed it. It has unique concept and the art style is simple and cool. I was quite confused at first but eventually i got it. Overall its really good for your first jam. Good Luck for your future projects.

I like the idea of the game. Perhaps it would be better to have counter effects on the same track as incoming ones. And it would be cool if there was actually some music in the game and the events would be rhythmically tied to it. I know that in short time that would be hard to implement, but if you decide to pursue this idea further, perhaps try that . Keep up good work!

framboisedodue 2020-04-25 20:09

The concept was interesting, I didn't except a Rock Paper Scissors with such a theme but it was creative and interesting ! I didn't find the stress level very useful though, but it was cool

unimaginable-code-studios 2020-04-26 14:38

The game concept and idea is pretty cool. I would never on earth think of that. Also, the game was super fun to play and the gameplay was smooth. But one way you can make the game better is to add music. I would be cool if the music gets more intense as the stress level goes up. Overall, great game.

Once upon a time I had problems with my job and I was often depressed about it, I was stressed and so went on for a long time. .Now that I think back on it, it just makes me laugh. Yes, I have changed, for the better, and a psychologist from the https://primetherapist.com/sex-therapy service helped me in this. I got a really good consultation during my first call here so I enjoyed the work of the workers. The psychologist was very understanding and really knew his job. In general I would recommend this service.
