Ok, I really like the PSX style you made. How did you achieve this ? Anyway, the game is a bit short and I think the "run" action could slow the decreasing warm bar. The idea is great by the way, so nice work ^^

I love the mood you've created here! suits the game well
I like the mood and the feature that when there was no fire - I was invincible so I could explore the world :)
@curtis-pelissier I just made low poly and reduced quality with a shader (Pixelated asset). Fog is from aura asset. Thank you all for your comments.
I like this game a lot! It is exactly the kind of game I tried to create (but failed)..
I didn't understand why the twigs wouldn't come off the trees sometimes, only one of them came off and at times they launched into the sky or disappeared (one of the number 1 most common bugs in ld games it seems). Also I think it would be cooler if the whole tree was chopped down so it would be more visual which of the trees had already been used.
The art and audio creates a nice atmosphere and makes the gameplay more engaging, it is however very simplistic and I think you could have added some other element like enemies or food collection.
Nice entry overall.
Nice atmosphere. I liked the sound. The head bobbing is a bit too much imo.
Nice ambient game ! All is minimalist but it suits nice the theme :fire:
Technically interesting with these pixelated shaders, unfortunately too short and not finished to be a game.
@linus Thank you for your feedback. It's desired that the tree would give one or 2 so you cannot know if you will get enough to keep the fire alive. Yes as you said I should have removed the tree after trigger because I understand it makes ambiguous readability. I wanted to do more but I worked a lot the LDGJ's week and I did most of the game the last day. Even if you think you failed consider that in this case you learn something and it is important for your nexts games. Thanks again.
@nsadie Thanks ! Yes I never know if it is too much or not... Next time I ll not use it. @ommadawn Thanks very much.
What a nice game! I wasn't able to gather any wood, I'm not sure if you're supposed to find sticks around or if you're supposed to be able to gather the wood from the trees, but either way it was quite nice. One thing I noticed though, is that even though the fire went out quite quickly I was able to stay alive for quite a long time, actually I didn't even notice my healthbar going down ever, which, I'm not sure if it's intentional, isn't exactly what I'd expect  The graphics were very nice though! I loved the pixel-ey aesthetic and the fog was pretty amazing! Nice job!
Nice ambiance and I like the pixelated graphics. The gameplay is a bit shallow though.
J'ai chaud
I liked how simple it was (gud user experience by just showing the input directly when pointing at things), and the mood it has
Well done!
It was a short and sweet experience. You managed to nicely capture a the feeling of being lost alone in the darkness with very little. Definitely the most atmospheric entry I've seen so far, very cool. What would have made it even better was if you could reinforce the feeling of getting cold as that is a core mechanic - e.g. applying a blue tint on the screen, a gasp sound effect when heat gets low, maybe a little bit of camera shake for shiver, just some ideas :)
A short ease-in/introduction would have been nice, I found the first few seconds of play a bit unintuitive but because it is so simple otherwise, it was easy to learn. A few thing would have benefited from slightly better feedback, e.g. sound effects for gathering wood and failing to gather wood, and it would have been nicer to be notified when your heat or fire are about to run out.
I am a terrible streamer but if you want to see genuine first impression of someone playing: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/602297327?t=00h03m56s
Thank you very much @tea for your feedback. If you look close on a tree a message pop to advise you interaction is possible. You was not supposed to be immortal I should read again my code :O
@dralaw Thank you for your feedback ! I will do better next time if I have more time to work on it ;)
@narudgi hmm, froid, chaud, froid. Thank for you feedback !
@izzo Thank you for your feedback. I saw your video it was really nice to see you playing live. Of course I should have give more care about sound effect, there is one when you take wood but the sound volume is very low... And I did not made notification when fire turn off because I wanted the player to keep an eye as it is literraly is life going on. But your idea is nice anyway. Thanks very much. See you.
