The character models are cute and the idea is funny. Unfortunately the high mouse sensitivity makes it very difficult to play/hit enemies.

sundancekid 2020-04-23 05:48

@audreyc Thanks for the feedback, I just added a mouse sensitivity option on the pause menu to make sure the game is playable.

Fun little idea and I like the music and all. Feels really solid for 2 days!

This is a fun game with lots to do, though sometimes It's hard to tell if you hit the enemy and the game gets hard very quickly. Still a fun and unique game!

Game was totally playable. Mobs got caught on things a little easily and often seemed to phase through or ignore the shield being held up. Maybe the collision box was a little too close, as it also let the outside wall clip to show the skybox beyond the arena. Sounds were good. Loved the ending screen.

Game was unplayable due to the mouse issues on the web player. Unfortunate because it looked like fantastic 3D art and a cool concept.

The WebGL game worked great for me! Great job! Things I liked: It seemed as though you put some real effort into the game. I liked that there were so many waves. Things I would work on a bit more may be the animations. The animations of the player felt a bit clumsy. The programming was there, just a bit slow, and no follow through. Overall, great job though!

Solid game for the time given. Appreciate the mouse sensitivity slider as it was rather high at first. Really liked the art style!

sundancekid 2020-04-23 08:28

@forevertrash I'm not sure what you mean by mouse issues, for me if I click on the screen once a round has started there are no problems, maybe try the windows version?

Very well done theme and fitting aesthetics. Would want the gameplay to change a bit over the course of the game, as currently with the progression of high tier weapon it was always one hit kill, except for boss. Once you bought one high tier weapon it didn't feel like it made any difference of buying another one, maybe just missing information or would be cool to have different counters, bash vs armor sword - vs unarmored etc.

Love the art style for the character and the music. Together they create a sense of humor and also make you feel nervous~ One thing not sure is that it seems Caesar is constantly losing health value.Don't know if it's a bug or designed to be so. Very good entry. Love to know what you think of my one~

It wasn't able to play your game on my Laptop(i5 Geforce 740M). It ran at 5 - 10 FPS and I wasn't able to beat the second wave. So I didnt rate your Game. But as far as I could tell It looked pretty nice and had nice music.

simansimon 2020-04-23 08:58

This is a pretty cool game, I had fun playing it. It lagged a little bit, but it was playable. I laughed a lot at the drawings, they are absolutely fantastic! Love this game, well done

primum-ludum 2020-04-23 11:53

The idea is great, and I'd like to play in it, but extremely hight mouse sensety killing all gameplay and experience. And I haven't seen any feedback from hitting enemies, or may be my attack haven't reached an enemy(but I've stood almost inside of enemy, and I could get damage form him, but I couldn't kill him)

sundancekid 2020-04-23 22:18

@primum-ludum Thanks for the feedback, you can adjust sensitivity from the pause menu. Not being able to hit enemies is a bug with the windows version that seems to only happen on some people's computers.

@tobias-bodewig Thanks for the feedback. Out of curiosity, were you playing on the web version or windows version?

@morandigame Thanks for playing. Caesar starts bleeding after getting stabbed, which can only be stopped by buying a bandage.

tobias-bodewig 2020-04-24 14:04

@sundancekid I tryed both versions. The web version was running even worse(3-5 FPS with firefox).

larsdu 2020-04-25 20:03

Impressed by graphics and animations, but the hitbox on the weapon makes this game all but unplayable.

hexiez123 2020-04-26 17:13

As many others have said, the idea is very good, although there are some things that would make the experience better such as giving some more indication as to whether you hit someone. I was also initially confused by the upgrading system. Otherwise, this game is a very solid submission.

Great entry. I was going to complain about mouse sensitivity, but noticed your answer, that ther is a setting for this. Overall I had fun. You can go long way I think if you polish it

madalaski 2020-04-26 22:00

A fun take on a historic moment. Takes a little while for Mercury to deliver his gifts but other than that I like the humour and the combat once I got some better weapons :)
