I liked the aesthetic of the game and it was fun to play!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Defend the swarm

I liked the aesthetic of the game and it was fun to play!
Nice and simple, could use some balance tweaks and a way of telling where enemies are
Nice game! The enemy sometimes wasn't visible on the screen, but it was simple and fun!
I enjoyed the gameplay, and finding out what all the purchasable units did. I'm a bit confused about the score, because one time I did really well (lived a long time) and got a score of 2, and another time I died pretty quick and got a score of 3. Overall, quite fun and simple.
A lot of good gamefeel here. I felt bittersweet when one of my swarm members died because, on one hand, I was losing, but on the other, the explosions look great. However, my controls, although smooth, were reversed and I was being shot at by something offscreen that I couldn't see. There's a lot of great stuff here though, I hope you end up repurposing it for something. Good job!
I felt like your game has more to it than what I got. The controls, the goal and how to achieve it are not clear to me :/ To clarify, it took me a while to understand when I won the wave and when I lost it
wow that was the most fun i had. not super innovative in terms of gameplay and theme, but i could see myself playing a polished version of this for hours. really good work!
also, scoring doesn't seem to work
This was really neat! I got stuck on wave 6 though even after defeating all the enemies. I bought a healer and a defender. Maybe I couldn't find it? Neat effects, too!
Neat incremental type game! The controls felt clean and smooth. One suggestion is to add something to the background to make it easier to visualize how the player is moving relative to the world.
Because some of you are confused, you have more points if you have more simple hexagons. I'm sorry. I probably should have made that clearer.
Good progression, fairly simple graphics but smooth mechanics. Good job!
Took me some time to understand the controls and what's going on. But it was fun! :)
A Simple idea but well executed and very fun! The game is lacking instructions at the start but luckily its pretty easy to understand.
I feel the use of some background texture would help with the sensation of moving as I was pretty confused at first thinking that I moved everything around a center point instead of that point itself was moving.
Apart from that one gripe I really enjoyed this game!
I also got stuck at the end of wave 6. I had 2 enemies firing at me from off screen, probably killed one of them but the other also stopped shooting. I fired more rounds in the direction, but didn't seem to hit anything. After a while, a simple hexagon came up from below and fired at me, but didn't apear to do any damage to me nor was I able to kill it. Really strange. The offscreen enemies kill a lot of the fun, a direction indicator or zoom out function would help a lot.
Sound was also a bit harsh in my headphones.
The idea is good and well executed. The graphics may be a tad too simplistic but the particle effects are great! Overall, good and addictive game
Congratulations for making this game ! Very fun game but the collisions was a bit buggy ! Loved it anyway !
I had two major issues while playing the game, the first was that often the enemies would be off-screen either full screen or not, and the second at wave 6 the game froze. I only scored 1 at the end of the second game (the one that didn't freeze), so I wasn't sure what the scoring criteria was.
The basic idea of the game is good, the mechanics are well thought out and once I understood how it all worked I quite liked it. Definitely needs a bit more polish but could be an interesting little game.
