I enjoyed the game. Nice game idea. :) I really like the art style. The music fits the game nicely.
The collision detection and hitboxes could be improved, quite often the boomerang was flying through boxes without destroying them in may playthrough. Also having some sound effects when throwing the boomerang would make the overall audio experience a bit better.
Certainly a very nice looking game. I'm not sure the music fits the game and some sound effects would've improved the experience by a lot. Good effort, though!

I like the concept of this game a lot, and the graphics and the music are really nice.
However it's a little bit too buggy (you can go out of the bounds) and I couldn't exit the level with the two fences (is it the end ?)
But with more time spent on the gameplay, I'm sure that it could have been a great game. Well done !
@yvanor what do you mean? The fixed version aka, the version that was made during the jam, but lost thanks to git had fixed the issue, fixed the audio overlapping and every video. Yes, the creature is buggy, since it turns out, the programmer responsible for the throwing did it in just simply adding a force to the object and waiting .1 seconds x10, without even using a loop. We'll try fixing it in post jam version (if we will make one)

Nice top-down adventure game. Maybe it would be nice to have some restoring points to restore full Pandonteus's HP, otherwise the game was a little bit unforgiving :laughing: Also it would be cool to have sounds for throwing the boomerang, breaking crates, returning boomerang to give more deep into game to the player.
P.S. What was the story of how the "Pandonteus" as a name was born? :smile:

stuck on level with two levers: you start with three, but if you hit two levers with one, you have only one in pockets.
@xart2012 ? Do you mean level 6? You are supposed to hit two levers at the same time, then break the box and finish the game. This behavior is really strange. You should lose only one life not two.

The graphics, sounds and movement are all good, but I wasnt able to understand what was to be done. How do regain health, by collecting items/branches? and how to collect them. Otherwise if there's no regaining and its like a puzzle with max number of turns then I was stuck in one level :thinking:
Also add a restart button or main menu button (if it was already there it wasnt visible to me, probably UI scaling), because when recording gameplay its easier that way
Nice game! Concept was nice, but the overall game is a bit confusing. Some suggestions: it sometimes felt like the boomerang touches the box but doesn't break it. It feels a bit unresponsive not being able to move while the boomerang is away. And the health could be always on screen, in a way we always exactly know how many moves we still got. The graphics & audio were great. Overall, good job! :)

The game looks really good, nice art and music! At the beginning it's quite confusing, some boxes did not break after being hit and it's a bit weird when you cannot move after using the boomerang
Cool game :) I felt like I 'broke' the game rules to win the last level, but if it works... :slight_smile: Nice moody music and cool character animation, really liked the scrolling credits with bits from the production! :joy:
I agree with some people that the game is pretty confusing at first. I suggest you make a health bar of the boomerang and put in in some corner of the game. And add sound fx when you destroy the boxes too.
