Love the art and concept my dude

You list windows release on this page, but there isn't one on your github page. I did try your game out in Unity though and it was fun as hell yelling random stuff at my little laptop and watching things appear .

anttiviljami 2019-10-07 17:37

Thank you @kessutinnu we are working on a Windows build as we speak. Removed the link for now. :)

Very interesting concept, not sure what I was suppose to do other than shout at my computer. Then again, I guess that was kinda the point :)

polyethyleneglykol 2019-10-07 18:01

I had my microphone not set up correctly so I had to scream and shout for stuff to appear at first which made it more humorous then it might have intended to be :D Great artwork and very creative idea for gameplay! ^^

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the more unique games I play this jam. Very well done and the art has a lot of charm.

By the way, how does the game decide which symbol to generate? It's not just based on volume, right? Because I definitely got some different results for each fret on my guitar.

Thanks for bringing this to the stream! What an amazing concept. I'm super impressed. This is beautiful. I had trouble mapping my sounds exactly onto the consequences, but still managed to get to the end with a little uke song.

anttiviljami 2019-10-07 18:45

@niterich the game detects pitch to determine the symbol. Thanks for asking!

Took me a second to figure it out, i ended up hummimng the tunes of mankind into my laptop, but i think im bothering the neighbors haha. Gorgeous entry, will try it later with some other proper instruments and what not, this one was cool!

Nice mechanics using audio as input. Good job!

I was expecting a game where we were creating music, in the end I didn't understand the purpose of the game, the goal to achieve? Otherwise the graphics are really beautiful, the neon style is very good and originality level, it's great, especially the idea of using the microphone to play. Musicality would have been welcome;)

The graphics and the UI of this game is on point :) I love your art style :D

I love idea of audio input and i've unpacked my guitar to play this game but i was uncomfortable while trying to figure out how to manioulate game world. Nice concept!

flywolfe 2019-10-12 20:06

I love the concept! I'm not really sure what I'm really doing in the world other than making objects appear, but it's really fun and interesting nonetheless! Great idea :D

chaotikza 2019-10-12 21:24

I love this - this is a piece of art! Well done on graphics, audio and gameplay!

I think making achievements get a bit more in your face would move this more towards being a game, for an example of I what mean: you just sung a murderer into being, hey you can try to get the murder achievement by singing a victim into being... and then once he's done murder you can bring justice by getting rid of the murderer with your Zeus powers.

I love so much the concept and the art in this game. The colors are beautiful and the ambiance is really, really good ! It's a good point ! Good job, it is very interesting and I had a good time here

Wow, I really love this, it made me take my lute to plays some Blind Guardian, Estatic Fear and original songs. Here's the world I made: SongCreation.png

The main idea is amazing and the graphics are fantastic. Well done!
